To customize with titanium parts for a lightweight folding bike.

This bicycle is a Trifold folding bicycle ,Brompton clone model, manufactured by a third party.
The patent of Brompton bicycle design has been expired, so we can buy a Trifold folding bicycle with the same design as the Brompton at an affordable price.
We can also set with external transmissions and sprockets from Shimano parts.
We also can get a compact folding Brompton-clone mini-velo bicycle with a chromoly frame, and have fun customizing it by choosing from a range of compatible parts and accessory products that various manufacturers have entered the market.
It has 16-inch aluminum wheels, Chinese derailer as RD 9-speed, and a chromoly frame with the same Trifold folding design as the Brompton.
Originally, it was heavy with a steel frame weighing over 13 kg, so I replaced the seat post, front fork, and front stem with titanium parts to reduce the weight.
As a result, the weight was reduced by about 1.5 kg.
The bike is now slightly lighter and easier to carry.
The biggest advantage of the 16-inch Brompton Crone Trifold folding bike is that it is very compact when folded.
Before the replacement, the bike weighed over 14 kg with the carrier and other accessories, and it was quite tiring to walk around the station carrying it on my shoulder.
The 1.5kg weight reduction is quite effective.
In the future, I would like to replace also the main frame and rear triangle with titanium parts to further reduce the weight to less than 10 kg to make the bike easier to carry on a bicycle.
I think that titanium parts are good enough cost-effective parts to satisfy my lightweight customization needs.
