R u using ur brakes when u turn ur tractor on the field? why such a large loop on the ends? we were taught different, when getting near the end and turning right u first swing left then press the right foot brake lightly so the turn is tighter and u don't have that loop on ur ends.since that roller is always on the ground pressing the correct brake u should have a tight smooth turn around. Do british tractors have a right and left brake foot peddle or just one like in a car?

Hi Alan we have split breaks but keep them together. We find with the 12 foot roller than doing a little larger turning circle with the longer drawbar helps not to cut the ground up too much. We roll the headlands anyway so that should cover missed bits ☺️
