Cheers Pembs legendary video 👍👍 just what I was looking for as I am new to rolling but have to flatten off a field - can’t wait to get rolling once we’ve had a good bit of the wet stuff

Interesting! As far i know this is not normal in Norway. Does it need to bee a smooth roller like you have there? Or can you do with a cambridge roller too? What we do on our farm is going over with a chain harrow to get away dead grass and air in...

I've never seen such a small roller , it is kind of neat. Here there are getting to be more big roller sets 90'. We use rollers to push the rocks down on hay land or crops that will be harvested low to the ground. I'm a Canadian Cowboy so I listen to country music while I'm farming. I like straight rows so I like to use GPS , I was pretty good at driving straight even before we had GPS. We farm beside a major highway so my Grandpa would make sure I planted the sugarbeets or corn as straight as possible he would've loved GPS.
@TomPembertonFarmLife6 жыл бұрын

We had to borrow a double roller to roll in some grass seed because our rollers bearings and steal casing are being fixed. We roll in laps then come back at the end and make a big X across to get the corners that are missed
@TomPembertonFarmLife6 жыл бұрын
Epic Puffin I have done it like that before

Tom Pemberton Farm Life your fields are bigger and flatter than ours though so your ways probably more efficient for you but with our small fields turning around lots isn't too healthy
