This is technically their first mv of their comeback. It's a track on their mini album "Fighting." They said we'll get 5 mvs (from a 6 song mini album), I'm assuming mostly over time this month. But all the tracks are on Spotify and they all slap. Little funsie fact in the description of the mv, they said Youngeun is handong's drum teacher. And that the director for this mv, that persons boss is the director for Dreamcatcher's good night mv, which they discussed this mv together. so there are a lot of references (not all of which I caught bc I don't follow DC super closely more a casual fan). I think I read about there a deja vu references with the table and blindfolds, and they shot the mv in the same place as the odd eye dystopia video. we love the rq X DC crumbs.

i know it’ll likely happen someday but i hope we get a collaboration between them with rolling quartz doing feature vocals and the instrumentals instead of their usual band. they know each other and it would be so cute and powerful to see

Lots of references to Dreamcatcher's MVs in this MV. Most prominent are probably from Deja Vu and the Nightmare series MVs. It's fun to looks for this little easter eggs, so to speak. Some of the more subtle (probably just my imagination running wild) references: - one member whispering to another member's ear (Piri/And There Was No One Left) - members walking in circle (remind me of Red Sun choreo & Breaking Out MV)

The story of this MV is a little different to Deukae's. The description mentions the theme of trying to discover their sixth sense using their five human senses... and each member represents her own sense, just as Deukae's members each represent their own nightmare. Bassist Arem = Sound Guitarist Iree = Vision Drummer Yeongeun = Touch Vocalist Jayoung = Taste Guitarist Hyunjung = Scent 7:10 Give them time, and they'll probably get there. I don't know what kind of budgets they roll with, but they also have contacts, which are clearly helping; Zany Bros did their Blaze MV, and they worked heavily with DCC for this, and that's obviously gonna be a huge boon. I suspect they're very good at working with whatever's available to them... 🙂 8:10 Their eye contact game is _stronk._ 😵(Yeongeun's eyes bore into my soul whenever she does... that _thing_ she does... at the camera 🥴) I don't know if you've also seen any of their live shows, but they mostly perform on a fairly small, black stage, and they pull you _right_ in. Their charisma, and the fun they're obviously having, is really contagious (along with Iree's ever-infectious grin😁). It really brings me back to when I used to watch a lot of live bands locally, and I can't _wait_ till I can actually see them _really_ live and up close... 8:50 It's not Arem's first time playing on her back. I don't think you've seen their cover of Maneskin's Zitti E Buoni (unless you just didn't react to it), but it's _epic._ There are two main videos: HOT ver. ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/qonTd6uOiNp3aKs ); same filming session, but different shots (they basically confirmed to me, when I asked, that they just had too much good footage for one video 😜)... There _are_ two other versions on top of that; the original vocal cover that Jayoung did on her own channel, and then the "self-bootleg" from the live show from just after the videos were released (there's also a self-bootleg of Xtra from the same show)... The mini-album, Fighting, is available to buy digitally or stream now, with 6 tracks. The physical album comes out on the 22nd, and is up for pre-order.

It's a good cover, love their version of the instrumentals, and she did a good job with singing whole song. But it's hard for me to get past not wanting to hear DC voices, especially in certain parts like Handong's I don't want to tick tock for example. Maybe after a few more listens that will lessen, and she did a good job at covering seven voices.

I love how raw the sound is sometimes. To be honest I expected more MV thing from an MV. Ofc their budget is very small, but still. Most of the time the camera shows how they playing on their instruments. Which is cool, but not exactly what I wanted from the MV.
