Thanks for making this a great guitar year Marty. Once heard Richards say about music theory, quote,"if it doesn't sound good don't play it, if it sounds good play it", some wisdom from Keith.
@kurtgoodwin9490 Жыл бұрын
I had a blast with this. I first tried to learn this in college in 1977 - just had sheet music (which I have to work through painfully) - didn't realize it was open tuning. was trying to really learn bar chords at the time and I just LOVED this song and the sound feel of it. Read about Keith Richards playing in Open G a few years ago, but didn't really dig into it. I subscribed to this channel a year or so ago, recently thought "I bet he has something on Open G and the Stones" and found this. Great lesson, great explanations and such a blast to finally feel like I'm getting it right. many many thanks

Yo, Marty, I've been watching your videos since I got a new guitar, and they've been really helpful! I've learned so many good songs, however, I always wanted to learn "Vox Humana" by Kenny Loggins, but I couldn't find any tutorials online. It would be so cool if you made a tutorial in it. Thanks!
@basilazor6912 жыл бұрын
Nice Marty really enjoy your guitar tutorial very helpful indeed, please do a tutorial on Santana version Stormy thanks
@williamglass7806 Жыл бұрын
i got the whole internet and this is my go to tutorial guy. that's got to count for something. i don't have a guitar hand, but this guy makes me sound good on the songs i can play. i tried acoustic's when i was a young dumb ass, but because that wasn't the sound i was looking for i figured i just didn't have it in me to play and i gave it up. fast forward to 22 and good electric guitars, pedals and amps, turns out i can play, especially metal. i wish i had started this when i was 12 years old. my parents had no faith in me what so ever. it hurts me to know that people like avril lavign had 100% support and i had negative zero, she didn't even need it.. avril could'a made it big if she had died at birth and buried 15' deep, she was destined for greatness no matter what. some people just are.
