Rolling Stones - Out of Control - Houston July 27 2019

The fabulous Rolling Stones in Houston at NRG Stadium = one day after Mick Jagger turned 76
Tried a new-ish camera... my Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS50 was too blurry so shifted to Sony DSC HX99 (similar to HX80, HV 90). So far so good, audio is not quite as good but video sure rocks so far.

What I love about the stones: They sing some of their songs thousands of times BUT they know this may be your first/only time seeing them - so they put 100% in. Hope to see them one more time after covid ends (!)

2:27 Mick takes control when you think is voice is great and delivery has intensity he just takes it to another level. Perfectly timed to his mates on stage. I am out of ontrol he certainly in control a day after his 76th birthday what a blessing it is to be able to enjoy the Stones at this time of our lives and theirs.

I was there, in the upper deck, I didn't think the sound mix was up to par, either that, or its just the bad acoustics of a domed stadium. The Stones still bring it. I was fortunate enough to see them in arenas a couple of times, I don't care for stadium shows, but will take what I can get with the Stones.

All but the 2 Keith ones and part of Sweet Virginia. Yes new DX99 but don't love the sound.. many in PIT area had better sound than me.. but i was way up.. like 4 people down the catwalk but to me concert sounded better than audio on my vids.. yeah, the sound on the dx99 isn't the best but it is good enough, it's better on the rx100 but not as good as my hx200v, but the rx100 takes such clear video but seems to suck on steadyshot. however, these are light cameras so they are more susceptible to hand movement and the hx200v was heavier, so it had a different momentum to it to help steady out some (altho you wouldn't know from my aerosmith video which sucked fighting the crowd). you gotta learn to hold the camera above your head. it sucks and my arms ache, but i always hold up the camera and use the zoom ring (full auto). that dude goes to a lot of shows.
