Great cover of a great song. Gives me chills- I was teenager when it came out, remember the violence and upheaval of that era. I wish we'd learned the obvious anti-war message of the time. Thank you.

As a longtime Stones aficionado who considers that one of the greatest intros of all time and goes back and forth between Gimme Shelter and Jumping Jack Flash as the greatest rock song of all time and who rarely hears a Stones cover that captures my attention, let me just say that I absolutely loved that!

Yes I was a Stones freak in the 60's. Yes this takes me back. The Stones music hit hard. They really had no competition. No one was in their league. I remember the day the album "Get your Ya Ya's out" was released. The Stones had a HUGE influence on the music scene

I've been an ardent fan of 'Gimme Shelter' ever since I first heard it in 1968 (what's that? like 50 years now, lol). I'm in love with this brief cover version. I am in awe of its beauty, so different from the Stones original yet equally as powerful and very beautiful.

I just loved this, for it's a bad*** tune and probably my favorite from the Stones, as well. It never fails to send a chill down my spine when I hear it and your take did it justice.
