This song is so powerful to me. Each member has their place in this band. Sim and Melvin are just badass. Chris just doing his melodic thing. Henry just telling it like it is. I miss this stuff.

Actually I have asked Henry that question after a Spoken Wird performance back in the 2010's I think. He told me they were doing rehearsals with this line-up, but Henry wasn't satisified 100% with the outcome. A few percentages were missing, enough to say no, I won't do it again with ya. That's vintage Henry. 100% or nothing

Rollins Band in full effect, Henry is just a legend. I miss these guys on stage, nowadays music pretty much sucks. No one comes even close to the intensity this band has left on stage

End of Silence is in my top 10 favorite records ever. I like Come in and Burn too. Weight is good. But EOS was something special, man. His lyrical peak. The band was on fucking fire.

He talks about that on his album Think Tank, on the track "No One is Fax-Exempt." Hank had destroyed his throat so badly that he was in constant pain and risked losing his voice entirely. Thus, he had to re-learn his vocal technique.

You know why? because they're French. 99% of them don't understand a word of what he's saying.. fairly important to be able fully empathize with Rollins' music. They're just listening to a heavy sound with a guy singing in English but they have no idea what he's talking about.
