You should try this rpg again but with a less harsh stress system. Half an hour? Seriously? Even 15-17 minutes was sever. JP manage to get through it but only through his special powers, if he didn't have that he would be stuck literally in an area... alone... just observing.

It's based on their stress. He has sick will so he basically needed over 30 to go over. When he's over he is every one point of stress equals 1 minute. So he is rarely going over it as often as the rest but when he does it's a half n hour at the least.

DychoTheSecond Yea but the point is that all of that is randomly rolled in character creator. Stats, power's, maid abilities. Maggie's stress ability is the literally the worst of the four. At least JP can still plot or make mischief just not interact with others, but Maggi's characters literally goes to SLEEP. Some of the stress abilities need to be repurpose then so the characters won't be deadlock like that.

Kuran Nasir Again the point is not balance, it's the fact that some of these stress thresholds excludes some of the players from the rest of the rp. 'Oh I am sleeping for so-and-so minutes I guess I'll... just listen while everyone else is still rping' Regardless of stress ability they should still otherwise have a way to interact with the game their playing. In all actually the only stress ability that is pissing me off is the sleep one. How is that fun to have your character completely out of game (actions and all) because you rolled that? JP could get passed his, so can Jesse, and Wheat has one that makes more interesting interactions. Maggie's character goes to sleep! There is no creative way of getting around that in any rp perspective.

I was a double lolita foxgirl orphan (family was killed by hunter dogs), a former Shinto priestess in American mansion (we supposed to have all-American cast, but since I'm not American IRL GM let me be Japanese), with 0 Athletics and my tail as a weapon (fitting, as tail is usually not the strongest part of animal's body), best cunning stat in the group (but my cursed die made all cast think I was a village idiot), not a lesbian but still seduced by our demon maid (revenge of cursed die!), and escape maid power that allowed me to ignore challenges I didn't want (my revenge to cursed die).
