That sounds like good right if it is Rolls-Royce Boss Revealed new engine will change the aviation industry right ? Guess I wish AIRBUS have new Rolls-Royce new engine too as Indonesia partnership with AIRBUS over BOEING for the future later. Anyways, need some more AIRBUS plane over BOEING for Indonesia if it is didn't want to get corruption case anymore because, in 2045 years later Indonesia will become the world's most developed country ever that meant (The Golden of Indonesia) as I wanted Indonesia choose AIRBUS over BOEING in the future.

Its amazing how much video producers can talk without actually saying anything. The useful information could have been covered in 2 minutes.

Rolls Royce needs to fix their current engines as well. Their current engines are currently having reliability, durability, and availability issues. More time and money is needed to fix these issues before proceeding to their next gen engine. As it is, airlines are opting out of Rolls Royce powerplants on their follow-up orders of aircraft. No point having a great new engine if the company's reputation is falling to the wayside, and airlines refuse to buy anything from them.

They are doing. Ultrafan is a program as well as an engine. Some of what has been created and tested in the Ultrafan is now being incorporated into tweaks and improvements in existing Trent engines. Not only should this increase efficiency, emissions, and reliability of the existing models, but it should also reduce the servicing requirements. Some of these changes will be retrofitted to the troublesome Trents as part of the resolution for outstanding issues.

And the usual WEF tosh about 'carbon emissions' (presume they mean that life-gas carbon di-oxide and not elemental carbon), and 'sustainability' (for the extremely rich).

Wow .. Composite fan blades.... like been in service over 30 years.... Geared fan reduction !!! Again, even older technology. Garrett research had one in service over 50 years ago.. A little late to the party "Ultra fan"..

How about fixing the existing RR Trent engines?

Please, give all measurements in SI Units (the metric system) in addition to the insane stupid and outdated imperial system only used by Liberia and the US. 140 inches = 3.556 m or 355.6 cm or 3556 mm. 85,000 lb = 38,555 kg 110,000 lb ≈ 50,000 kg

It is not always an accurate thing to do, especially if the original specifications were in SI units and the figures being quoted are a rounded conversion to Imperial. P.S. I agree with you about using SI units, not because I am biased (I am old enough to think in a combination, being quite relaxed about adding x grams to y pints in a recipe!), but for the simple reason that Imperial units are not fully standardised. For example, wherever you go in the world, a litre will be the same, whereas a pint will not necessarily be.

WHY? because people cannot do simple mathematics?
@rickwhite4137Күн бұрын
@@trevorhart545 Because the insane and outdated imperial system ha no logic, and it's no easy to calculate every imperial measurement into logic SI units.
