Man electric Razors connected inside cars back in 1951 !!!??? Where the hell did all those technologies went in the '60s, '70s, and '80s??? we had to wait until recently where we can charge our cell phones in our cars.

I have a feeling that the wiring for these appliances in cars didn't last very long and might be a short circuit / fire hazard. Especially if you had young children playing in and around unsupervised.

Britain in 1951 was literally in a terrible financial situation. Just because we were still making Rolls Royce doesn't mean the average person was living well. We were far behind the Americans thanks to WW2.

@@PaulStClair-or3gj I must admit, I sure would like to have one of those 'humidity controlled cigar cabinets' in my Cadillac Escalade! Although it DOES have two television screens in the back seat. Sucks that I'm a bachelor eh? They've never been used!
