We just haven’t seen enough from him to know how good he is he has come in when we were blowing these little teams out . I think there’s gonna be a serious quarterback battle and I want the best one to play. I surely didn’t want beck to come here

Exactly. There is no need for a guy that hasn't done anything in big games. Don't forget the big games. That's what set AJ, Mac, even Jake and GMac apart. The bigger the game, the better they played. Tua and the two Jalens didn't have the big game savvy.

Tbh I love that Ty stayed and I would give it to him just because he coulda left awhile ago he went the mac jones route when we are in a age where kids are leaving if they aren’t getting the day 1 start let alone 3 years ! But I feel like I want Austin to start just looking at how he throws the ball MAN it’s beautiful and he is young and it’s crazy because him and Keelon may be the same age I feel like with that he is in year 3 we should give him the opportunity if not Ty because he will run out of eligibility soon the way it’s going he won’t start until his 5th and final year. I feel like Keelon is a great prospect but we can wait like 2 years to start him ….. if he stays which is why I did respect Ty for what he did for staying here at the end of the day we need to be quick with it really evaluate and pick so the QB and WRs can start getting some work and chemistry together get a major head start instead of trying to find continuity during the season

Alabama is a serious QB away from being a title contender in 2025! So if Bama wasn’t somewhat interested in Beck I’m worried about their ability to build a championship team. We’ve gotta have a elite roster to win it all in the NIL era with the amount of 💰some of these programs are spending. I would rather have an experienced multi year starter than an inexperienced guy coming off the bench.

The quarterback position is important. Very important, but you can't loose your dedicated, hard working qb room for a one and done either. It upsets the whole apple cart. There are team dynamics that are intangible, and they present themselves on the field. Just remember how Alabama played when Saban pulled him for one game. It was the entire team that was disgruntled. Not just JM. Just my opinion. Natty teams are strong from within. Especially with so much money.

The situation with Simpson reminds me of Mac Jones. He hung around and waited and when it was his time I think he did pretty good. National championship and undefeated. And would have been a finalist in the Heisman. If you remember what happened Jaylen waddle got hurt and all the passes went to Devante Smith so his stats were high. Had Mac Jones had waddle the two receivers would have canceled each other out. And I think the attention 10:18 would have gone to the quarterback throwing to both of them

Well one thing that I don't like about the portal is one team can buy another teams best player, imagine if schools that we compete against bought Derrick Henry or Mark Ingram or Trent Richardson or Tua tungaviola and then we get beat by our own players.. probably the only reason Alabama offers Beck a spot was to keep Georgia from getting him

What Alabama needs is offensive line and defensive line. No holes for the running backs, no pressure from the defense line on opposing teams. Without improvement on the lines Alabama is in trouble

New flash, a lot of coaches tail players they want them to come in and be the starter as soon as possible but the reality of that is it rarely happens and it’s not far-fetched for Alabama to want to get a veteran quarterback, especially one with experience in the SEC so don’t be so quick to dismiss it plus, we don’t know what they pay the players because they don’t release what they pay

Ty was never really given a chance to be QB 1 and never had a real chance to compete. He couldn't possibly be worse than Jalen. At least he is a quarterback. The best person doesn't always start. There are factors we as fans never know about. Tua was way better than Hurts but almost never started.

No way you can tell me at the end of the season the last four games that the team was behind Jalen Mildew. they weren’t, but that was probably some kind of stipulation that he gets to start every game. He’s healthy and play and because he wouldn’t bench his self that he lost the team I firmly believe that with all my heart
