It’s great to see the “LeBron James of soccer” cooking in Italy. Christian Pulisic has had the best season of his career at AC Milan. What impressive about how good he’s been is his situation 12 months prior to his move to AC Milan. He had a very difficult period at Chelsea where most of his tenure there he was struggling with injuries a lot of games he hardly played and when he was fit, he was always on the bench different managers never fancied him and he found himself on the fringes of the team. It’s easy to blame him when the reality is that many attackers haven’t gotten going at Chelsea and most of them don’t get better after they join wire club. Since his move to AC Milan he has found his best form. In his very first season there he had 15 goals and 8 assists 23 G/A which is the most combined goals and assists he’s had in a season. He does play at his best whenever he plays on the left wing, on the RW he has played the best football of his career on the opposite flank. He is someone who is direct versatile and has acceleration whenever he’s dribbling. It’s clear that his style of play suits Serie A more than the premier league. His current form bodes well for the USMNT going into the Copa America this summer because normally he wouldn’t be in the best form at club level and then he starts producing for his national team, he has a very good record with the national team and he’s going into a major tournament in top form at club level. I’m not saying they’ll win the Copa America on home soil, but with their talisman in good form, they’ll benefit from that. Chelsea really downgraded because you went from Pulisic to Murdyk who has flopped so far and we don’t know if he’ll ever come good in the premier league we need to see next season and if he was still there he’d be much better than him. It happens with so many players particularly attackers and Pulisic isn’t one who’s thrived after leaving Chelsea and it’s a great example that certain players need the right environment in order to flourish.

Anyone that has followed Pulisic through his career should notice that his shooting has improved tremendously. He used to shoot and fall to ground after every shot like he was trying to hard. Not one time did he do this at Milan. During the summer before he joined up with Milan Pulisic paid the same people that Dybala and other footballers have used to improve their shooting, it’s like a 3-4 week course or maybe just 2 weeks, but whoever they are apparently know what they are doing. They improved Pulisic’s shooting drastically, more than any club training could. I don’t know the name of this school for shooting on goal and finishing in general, but it’s an easy google. It apparently works! Dybala has a hell of a finish. Pulisic took his course in the US, but they probably come to you. It’s no joke they charge like 25k for it.

@@stationkidd Pulisic’s reemergence isn’t a coincidence. While he waited for a new club over the summer, Pulisic traveled to South Florida for a week of individual training with Ethan Sonis, who runs SAT Soccer in Miami. Sonis, 27, leads a five-person team of professional trainers who have amassed an impressive list of global clientele. His location in Miami certainly helps. For years, footballers have flocked to the city during their offseason. The sessions take place under the hot Florida sun on a private field away from the cameras and scrutiny that his clients, like Pulisic, constantly attract. “I don’t stargaze,” Sonis said. “(The players) don’t have to be perfect. I treat them like any regular human. I catch them raw. I catch them emotionally. They can get hot-headed with me. They can cry, they can scream, they can mess up.” That’s what the article said that I just googled. Google How Christian Pulisic’s offseason training shaped his form with Milan, USMNT. and it will come up. I read a different article about the same thing when Dybala was mentioned of doing it also.

Why do good players who come to Chelsea never perform? Afterwards they go to other clubs and play at Ballon d'Or level. 😢
@YNWA3466 ай бұрын
I just really think Chelsea as a whole just puts way too much pressure on its players and coaches. They’re a bigger club so the mindset is to always perform, but they consistently always spend a lot more than most teams in the league bar, United and City and when the results start to not show, the fan base and media can turn very hostile on that club. I also think that, even though they won a good amount under Roman, he just made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. It never helped that he had no hesitation to fire managers whenever he wanted too, which made it hard for players to have to get used to playing a new way, or even worse, not being a part of the new managers plans. As chaotic as Roman was it’s even worse under the new ownership.

Maybe this CS didn’t watch Pulisic at Chelsea enough? He was given ample time to stamp his authority on the squad but at some point even lost his spot to Hudson-Odoi. Absolutely brilliant on his day, however, not consistent enough to truly take his game to the next level at Chelsea. Talented af tho wish he was less injury prone

Your notion that Pulisic is injury prone is an invention by Tuchel. Pulisic was bright immediately at Chelsea. Then Tuchel came to resent Pulisic not being more loyal to club than country, and so relegated him to a substitute role under the pretext that Pulisic required more rest because of his national team duties. Being a substitute wrecked Pulisic's form, as it does with many players.

Just about ALL of Chelsea's players during that time were "inconsistent" and those that got sold, almost all were night and day different at their new clubs when they left. This tell us that Chelsea was the problem and any consistency that was not met was because of Chelsea and not the the player. Case in point, Chelsea is a meh mid table team this season. Also, Pulisic was mostly healthy last season so that injury prone garbage is flat out a lie.

@@CognizantCheddar this just sounds like an excuse atp 💀 as if Pulisic is the only player that plays full heartedly for his country, and does not change the fact he got injured regularly even under Lampard, so it is not the manager’s fault that he wasn’t always prioritized when available. In case you forgot you don’t rush players that pick up injuries easily this isn’t a video game

@@Pollitosh_ like I said, recency bias. Pulisic was good on his day but never consistent enough, and whether you like it or not he got injured easily so idk how that isn’t valid? Y’all need to let agendas rest sometimes. All the players that seem to be doing better for a different club that played for at least 3 years at Chelsea also failed to nail down a starting spot consistently, that just means they were inconsistent, simple as. You only get this issue at clubs like Chelsea meanwhile clubs like Man City, Madrid and Bayern do not have patience for inconsistency like this

@@acham182like Reece James chill well, fofana, Nkunku, carney Chuk, etc. etc. you are right the injuries play a huge part. Clearly Chelsea are rushing players back, of players are lying and rushing themselves back because of the competition. Chelsea is a club known for its insane competition to get minutes. Hell, there is a loan army or used to be. Plenty of players spend the majority of their epl career injured. I never thought Mount could get injured. I thought he was like iron man or something. Then he just disappeared at Chelsea then goes to United and gets a damn near season long injury. Injuries in all leagues are out of control these past few years, especially the non contact injuries, idk what is going on.
