Wow. I don’t ever remember Heather Webber being played by Mary O’Brien. I mean I was a small child during these episodes but I only remember Robin Mattson as Heather Webber and I can vaguely remember seeing Cher’s Half sister Georganne LaPierre playing her briefly. Wow. I was a fan of this storyline when it originally aired... and it's still good. It's impossible not to like Diana, yet you still feel for Heather in her desperation. I was bummed when Heather left.

Over the years I always wondered was it the LSD overdose that really turned Heather super evil. At this point she was scheming but misguided. But once Robin Mattson took over the role and we found out that Heather had been faking her amnesia and her catatonic state she became pure evil lol. By then it made sense that Heather plotted to shoot Diana next time especially when she caught Jeff and Diana in bed lol. That was a great twist that gave Heather even more motive to get rid of Diana for good lol. Dang they just dont write well thoughtout stories like this anymore on soaps!

In true soap opera style: Heather is away from PC and has the baby while estranged from Jeff. She's alone, desperate for cash, and already mentally unstable. She sells Steven Lars. And low and behold - the baby broker sells him to the Taylor's (Peter & Diana) back in PC. Why? You may ask?? Becasue it's in the script! :) P & D raise PJ (Peter Jr) as their adopted son. Heather knows it's Steven Lars and commences on her mission to reclaim him without having to tell Jeff the truth.

I recall watching an episode of "That 70's show" where Red tells Kitty that he isn't anxious to go back to work because he had hit "General Hospital" fever....he needed to know if and how far Heather was going to go through with her suicide ploy and if Jeff would stop her in time and take her to hosital lol. without mentioning the name of the show but keeping the characters names and that familiar 1976 story, we all knew what they wre referring to!

This is after the one night fling. That happened at the very end of may or beg of June. This story took place in late July, while Laura & Scotty were honeymooning in LA. And Yes - Dr H. is about to tell Monica that she pregnant (with AJ).

I believe I seen it towards the end of The Lassa Fever storyline. i remember the dramatic scene where quarantine is lifted, Alan, Lila Edward and Tracy are relieved Monica's alright...Tracy's inquisitive...and where Rick chases Monica along the beach in an emotionally charged scene.

I was maybe 12 when this aired, and Heather was my heroine. I had a huge crush on "Jeff". I did not much care for Diana or Anne. I was in the minority I am sure. I love the natural hair color of the actress that played heR (Mary O'Brien) - My natural color as well. I remember the days when those things mattered and everything that was wonderful about that day and age. Wish we could go back in time and live in that era forever!
