Lyrics : Can you all hear it play The regretful sound of silence Take this good old pain away All we’ve learnt here was violence Timer after time We will bury our sins it’s all we’ve known Crime after crime Soon there’ll be nothing out here we’re calling home Never too young to die When the old don’t learn the lesson Many angels will fly Is anyone home in heaven Timer after time We will bury our sins it’s all we’ve known Crime after crime Soon there’ll be nothing out here we’re calling home

Dear Romain: this song is astonishing! I was keeping back the tears until the guitar solo. When your guitar wept, my own tears flowed like a child's. @RomainAxisa I’ve been dating a man whose family immigrated to the USA from Jordan/Gaza area many years ago, and he’s really struggling with what’s happening there right now, because if his parents had chosen to go one direction vs the other that they chose, they would have been genocided and trapped, instead of escaping and supporting his and his brothers’ new life here. He’s been dealing with so much grief about all of this, and I’m so grateful that I could send him this beautiful song. Thank you so much.

Such hectic days. Overloaded with stress and anxiety of what's to come next. A world in disarray holding onto hope by threads as tiny as the tip of a needle. Music, for even just a moment, can transcend all the chaos and give peace, and calm, and love. Find it anywhere you can. In whatever form it presents itself to you. Hold it tightly and let it heal you. Thanks Romain, for sharing something we all need.

Also your inspiration for the song and it's 'raw' power is what makes art, art. What inspired you spoke to the current landscape and also, sadly to generations before you.
