John I must say your quite the extraordinary human sharing this field with the Hoover boys and letting them find all the stuff you’d have found yourself eventually they would never find Roman artifacts and coins here and thank you for taking time to film all their finds and missing out on detecting time yourself I’m surprised you found anything at all with so much filming😳 and I also appreciate you adding the foo whip noises in the Hoover boys style what a great series this has been very enjoyable to watch so thank you thank you thank you for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼

9:53 Trajan is 100% correct on that one and Roma is also correct, she is holding a little Victory in her outstretched hand and a spear in the other, no cornucopia just an attic helmet, minted in Rome between 108-109, incredible find from what most would consider the absolute peak of the empire. 14:30 Yep that's Commodus again, The goddess on the back is Fortuna the goddess of luck and it was minted in Rome in the late 180s. 20:38 Beautiful Hadrian, the "T" is because at this point in the empire, it was common for an emperor to adopt his heir, but when Trajan died it was uncertain if he had ever actually adopted Hadrian, so to give himself more legitimacy he added Trajan to his imperial titles so it would seem like he did adopt him. On the reverse that is the god Genius placing a sacrifice onto an altar, minted in Rome between 119-121, that one is not a very common variety either, as a Hadrain collector I'm very jealous. I have got to get over to Europe at some point to do some Roman detecting, buying uncleaned coins is fun but I cant imagine actually pulling Romans out of the ground myself. Looking forward to the next vid!

I don't want to be crying sour grapes. But I'm already green-eyed with envy from the Hoover's permissions here in MD. To see them with you is almost unbearable. Still, I'll try to be a good sport and congratulate John. A Roman fibula is a dream find. And the silver flourin is beautiful. Good on him and good on you for being the best host. I expect they will return the favor and you will visit MD soon. I would love to meet you for a pint if you do. Cheers all around !!!
