why did you polygon pour both sides of the PCB to ground? isn't one layer enough for the ground pour? im only asking because ive seen alot of video online where they have only poured one side of a 2-lyered PCB.

Hi Roman, when you created the full area top and bottom polygon pours for the ground connections did that create two new individual layers on the board that are complete copper layers? If so, where are those layers located relative to the actual top layer with the silk screen comments and bottom layer which included additional track routing? Thanks!

Can you explain how to do through hole components? I am using a pcb board for my microcontroller, a couple of resistors, and transistors but I don’t know how to tell Altium I want to solder my own things and not do SMD components

Just search for Throgh Hole components instead of SMD, and altium will automatically generate component with holes.
