Hiya Steve Just WOW to your latest composition sir 👍👌I have listened many times since you uploaded but have waited to send a message. There are so many beautiful, memorable, singable passages and isn’t that part of what we crave from music - as well as the emotions that it creates. Loved the rainy ☔️ E minor section - that was quite a Hollywood meets Southern England effect. I especially love the Bb outer sections with their uplifting melody - that II/V/I treatment with the melody going from G-D-C-F each time and the lush harmonies really hits the spot. The 6/8 middle section is a lovely refreshing contrast. This is such a beautiful concert piece Steve - and really think it suits the Flute so well - am intrigued as to whether you composed it with a particular Flautist in mind 🤔 ofc it’s beautiful for ‘just’ 🎹 as well! Your music is a joy to hear - I hope this one gains the wings and travels as it rightly deserves 👌 Thanks so much for sharing your evocative music 🎵 All the best - Gareth

@@ggthepianoman9870 Thanks so much Gareth! We are on the same plain musical speaking even if my ability does not compare. It was one of those doodles in E minor that sort of grew. Wasn't sure about the transition to Bb major and that rather sentimental tune that suddenly appears (this is where the flute enters). But it's simplicity one out . I wrote it for my cousin's daughter who is a talented multi-instrumentalist as she plays at weddings. Hope she finds time to record it.

@@hughlazarus7806 Thank you Hugh. I was at his season end piano party (I think you were there also) and was amazed to hear of the sad loss of his brother and accident. I have nothing but admiration for his loyalty to his fans in carrying on.
