Great start to the long series! Romanian back roads seem like an awesome place to ride, but I would hate the heavy traffic areas! Mountain roads are almost always awesome! Cheers Pavlin!

The rumanian traffic is a nightmare. We've been there this summer and there seemed only very little respect against other people on the road. But the landscape was great!

i love romania, fantastic roads. this year we were on transalpina and transfagarasan just before romaniacs and southern part of transalpina was closed so we had to go around and found even better roads to ride. dont skip goulash at the top of transalpina next time :). also, this year, bears came out of the forest and stood by the transfagarasan, weird and dangerous, they were begging for food thrown by tourists, all the way from the top to the dam.

I'm a long time follower. It's interesting to see you riding the roads and places I know well, but its even better when you ride roads and places i don't know, and most of them I probably wont see in person. Thanks for filming and sharing your travels.

Great video, I look forward to the next ones from your adventure. I will be happy if you share how and how long it took you to get a Russian visa and what documents are needed for you and the motorcycle? And why did it cross the northern border? Thanks in advance Pavlin
@motorcycleadventureslive Жыл бұрын
Visa I made for a month. Need only a passport. Motorcycle went into the country with a temporary import declaration. I went North because I didn't want to be held on the Ukrainian border.

that's the beauty of biking: you can squeeze between the trucks, make a few traffic violations here and there, park almost anywhere and free, waiting reduced by more than 90% and so on. being free from many constrains the "officials" impose upon people. a car? never again. despite the rain/mud/dust/whatever.

i know it is not a topic here, but i wanna know experience from all bikers regarding health issues specific to moto-riding, such as kidney inflammation, ear inflammation/infection, bell's palsy (that i just had, possibly from draught after quad riding) or stuff like that, obviously most are connected to draught and hypothermia and all is well when one is young, but being at the wrong side of 40's made me realise that maybe all that draught is not so healthy or i am not using right gear (properly)?

The heavier traffic in Romania, and also Bulgaria of course, it's due to Austria being Russia's puppet and not voting for Schengen in our region.

I can truly see why you have to be aggressive. You’ll have to come to the state of Connecticut in USA or Massachusetts or maybe you’ve done all of New England I’m not sure.
