Correction: Romania still have the 23 modernized Mig 21s operational for emergency cases, until the additional 36 F16s from Norway will arrive and replace them. I've seen a more detailed comparison, between the Romanian army on one side and Hungary plus Bulgaria on the other side. Romania still outguned these 2 combined armies in most of the categories...

There are a few errors in this comparison. At the moment Romania has 26 F-16 multirole aircrafts and another 23 to be received untill 2025. There are 54 SPG's K9 Thunder on order, with deliveries starting 2025. For the MLRS's, at the moment, Romania has 18 HIMARS units on order only (not 54). 36 HIMARS were already received in 2022 and 2023. On the other side, Hungary has 12 obsolete D-20 howitzers only (not 295 as presented). Hungary also has 14 Leopard 2A4 and about 15 Leopard 2A7 (plus 29 on order for a total of 44), as well as about 32 T72 tanks which were never upgraded and no one knows how many still works. Another 100 T-72 or maybe more are rusting in graveyards. For sure there aren't 208 tanks, and will never be so many. At the moment Hungary has one Embraer military transport aircraft received and one on order. The other planes are: one Airbus A319 and two Falcon 7X which are civilian planes and cannot be considered as military planes.

Please note that we live in a world where irredentism can only lead to armed conflict (especially in Europe) and also note that both Hungary and Romania are members of NATO and members of the EU. This entails the recognition of each other's sovereignity and integrity. You cannot have alliences between nations which lay claim on each other's teritorry. I don't know what the Hungarian constitution says, but I am willing to bet that it insists on sovereignity and integrity. Does it not?

If you really want to be precise......there are 26 F16's operational and another 23 to come this year. Romania has real trainer aircrafts, IAR99, IAK52 for early lessons, as well as a division of trainer helicopters. Plus a regional F16 training center at Fetesti AFB, equiped with at least 12 F16 in trainer configuration. Hungary has no real trainers, only a few IAK52 which were build...in Romania!!! Now you have some orders from Czech Republic....but they will arrive in 2030....who knows? And.....who mentioned AN2???????? Are you unable to read?

Then, HSC was transferred in a strange manner by a few successive owners, till arrived in state portfolio. Mafia business. The factory is in Czech Republic, near Prague, on Czech soil, so it's a Czech factory. Hungary own it, but the know how, equipment, skilled technicians are in Czech Republic. Nothing hungarian here. 🤣 Interesting also to see the order evolution for L-39NG: Since Sept. 2021 (when the factory was bought), one order from Ghana has been received (6 airplanes) and one from hungary for 12 L-39 NG (8 trainers and 4 reconnaissance). Meantime, not even a plane has been delivered (!). With this stakeholders structure.....who knows if/when they will build something. I am really curious to see at least one flying. Moreover, if we talk about L-39NG, only Vietnam operates 12 L-39NG (ordered in February 2021, when the factory was owned by Penta Investments). So.....
