Nice and informative vid. Interestingly, Hungary uses a similar mask, more like heavy CBRN suit, called 96M, that was mosty used during the Ajkai red mud incident

@@RobertCBRN basically just hungary being hungary. During aluminium refining, waste products - red mud- are made. It has a pH about 2, and contains Hg, cyanide and other interesting chemicals... And bc of an outdated gate, about 100-180 thousand m3 of this stuff has flooded Ajka and the nearby settlements

Very nice review of these masks. I have the same issue of the two sides of glass separating a bit on my US M9a1 which has been in its sealed tin for the past 70 years, so i'd bet it can just happen with age, as well.

I’ve also experienced the same problem with my sealed medium sized M9a1. My small size, which was not sealed but in great condition, doesn’t exhibit the glass separation issue tho.

Hey i have what i believe to be an M74 in my own collection and was linked to you for knowledge about it. Im kinda only now thinking to ask thi but I've seen a lotta M74's online listed as Iraqi or Hungarian. I know why some are called Iraqi cause of your other video but i was wondering if you knew why so many are listed as Hungarian. The shop owner i got mine from also thought it was a Hungarian mask so until recently i thought the same. Considering Hungary had access to masks like the 75M, 67M, 70M, and one other im forgetting atm, it doesn't make sense to me that theyd import masks fro Romania so why are so many mislabeled

Extremly stupid sellers, like how they sell MP5 but they are actually ARFA, at least in this case they are very similiar. I belive the M74 mistake is more due to the name (M74 ~ 75M)

Depinde de la producator la producator. Cert e ca daca e tinut sigilat o sa fie bun multi ani. Cele de la romcarbon au valabilitate vreo 3 ani si drager vreo 5 daca nu ma insel. Cel de particule rezista cel mai mult
