ROMANO HUMMEL - 2022 EUROPEAN GRASSTRACK SOLO CHAMPION

Young Nertherlands star rider Romano Hummel wins the 2022 European Grasstrack Solo Championships at Swingfield in the UK. He was unbeaten all day, and the only time he missed the start, was in the Final, but this made very little difference as he was so superior to all the other riders, his skill was amazing to watch. Here we show all his races on the way to his great victory, plus interviews at the start of the meeting and the presentations at the end. An incredible display of speed and control from this young champion. What will he achieve in the next few years?

Interesting to see the difference in his style over the others - trailing leg into the corner and then puts his leg up on the straight.

I love this. Fantastic film work. These young riders really are tip top, it's good to see a moto cross bike doing wonders but these things are just really basic and the set up is vital. This is a slippery grass field and speeds that you would be seeing on a motorway. And those ropes are all that will stop this cat.
