A great souvenir. I met him in 1966 in a music store in Pesaro where I used to stroll . I struggled to believe him when he told me his name . But it was actually true , without trying to hide himself . He was looking for a new style synth instrument ... and if I was flabbergasted by name, now it is by his talent .

However as with many other things Fascism's relationship with Jazz deteriorated under the influence of the germans who were more conservative.

He only really had negative views on Christianity while he was a Socialist, after doing a 360 and becoming an ultra patriotic nationalist did he rescue the Vatican and Italy from atheistic Communism, who, as is well recorded, Bolsheviks seized, razed and plundered hundreds of churches in Russia, massacring most of the church leaders. After becoming Prime Minister, Mussolini met with the Pope and eventually granting the church their own sovereign territory aptly called 'Vatican City'.
