I am constantly checking myself that I should not act like the Holy Spirit with other believers. I can pray for them, and the Holy Spirit will convict behavior if it needs changing. It’s not my job to change them. Thank you, Kaela, for pointing out in verse 12 that God will not ask me about anyone else when I stand before Him. Happy Saturday to all!

Thank you so much! And YES. Goodness I don't even know how many times I've read through the Book of Romans (probably more than 20), and even this time - freshness! God's Word is alive!

What a shame being a Lady your not allowed to preach scripture, strange as all Sunday School's have female teacher's not just men. It reminds me of a time someone thought I was making a fuss for making sure my food was Gluten Free. Kaela, is a great biblical tutor. Thank you for being you and using your gift of ministry. People have a choice of what their meal can include it is not up to us to criticize them for their choices. God Bless, pray you always continue as a fellow Christian.

If it doesn’t feel right don’t do it; it’s sinning

Romans 14:1-12 describes how Christians with opposing views on matters of freedom and sin should treat each other. First, strong-faith Christians who understand that all things are clean for those in Christ should welcome and not try to change weaker-faith Christians who believe some things, like eating certain meats, to be sinful. Each should act on their convictions and honor the Lord in doing so. Neither should judge the other, for the real day of judgment is coming when we will all stand before Christ and give an account of our lives. Romans 14:13-23 instructs strong-faith Christians who understand that all food and drink is clean for those who are in Christ to be willing to set aside indulging their freedom for the sake of weaker-faith Christians. Those who cannot partake in good conscience-even though they are free in Christ to do so-should not do so. To violate their conviction is sin. It is also wrong for strong-faith Christians to tempt weaker-faith brothers and sisters into sin by insisting on exercising their own right to eat and drink those things.

Romans 13:1-7 describes the responsibility for Christians to live in submission to the human authorities in government. The reason given is that every government leader has ultimately been established by God for His own purposes. Generally speaking, human government serves to rein in and punish those who do evil. Governments do this on God's behalf. Christians must pay their taxes to support this work God is doing. In addition, those in Christ owe respect and honor to the authorities that God has put in place. Other Scriptures, such as Acts 5:27-29, distinguish between ''submission'' and ''obedience.'' Romans 13:8-14 describes the Christian obligation to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. To do this is to fulfill the law of Moses, because love itself never hurts anyone. The time has come for believers to cast off any works of darkness, including drunkenness, immorality, and jealousy. Instead, we should live as people who walk in the light, taking on the spiritual armor of light and Christ Himself.
