Loved the singing at the end! Great example of true Worship. God loves to hear his children sing even if we dont have the best voice. What an amazing man of God. Such knowledge wisdom and humility.

reksubbn. I'm sure that is true. I have been rather proud of my singing, partly because I mean it when I sing and I feel Holy Spirit annointed. But God has reminded me when I am feeling critical of someone else's out of tune voice , that if they are sincere He values it as much as anybody's . A critical spirit is something I struggle against and ask for the Holy Spirits help with. God has told me though that He appreciates my struggle against sin . I am often reminded of St. Paul's words about the struggle against sin. I find his writings an immense encouragement in this regard . Kayte

Katharine Davis Hi Kayte. Thanks for your reply. I would love to have a great voice. As it is i can sort of keep in tune. I long to sing in a choir where i might sound ok with other voices. But it is hard for me to find a church with a choir. Mostly it is just backing singers on microphones! So I have to look outside the church to sing in a choir. But i still sing for God. It requires special grace to enjoy hearing average singers let alone those out of tune. But God does!. I pray that he gives you that grace. God also loves good singers with a heart to serve Him. Your comments are honest and reflect your desire to serve Him. David Pawson comments on his 2 part study on Habbakuk that God gives us gifts in order to share them with others. When you sing you are singing for others who cant sing so well. Maybe try asking others what songs they would like you to sing. Maybe try busking and sharing your love of God that way. In part 2 of Habbukuk David Pawson shares another song. But this time he uses a band. It brought me to tears. I would like to hear your thoughts on that song. Bless you. Ps David only sang a song because his wife wasnt present! I can relate to that.

I only just heard the end . Bless him for having the courage to sing. I loved him even more.! Kayte

Hi Reksubbn , I'm too old for busking now. Though I do share my faith with those I meet, and as I'm now living in sheltered accommodation, when we had a carol service , I ( unobtrusively I hope ) led the singing. I think we will start informal services where this can be repeated . I p!lay the piano too , so I hope to do that. Kayte

There is something so deep and valuable about seasoned Godly uncompromising teachers like David who keep the Body of Christ on track. I am so thankful to the Lord for this with an ever increasing change I am now witnessing in many churches including my own. It grieves my heart but encouraged by this precious general of the faith. I hope to take example of pressing on no matter what is going on around me. Please pray I do family as I do for you too

Election for service, not salvation. So true Praise GOD
@aservant22872 жыл бұрын
Salvation is available for everyone, we choose that. That's the problem with calvinism. They think that God chooses some for Hell and some for Heaven. I always ask them if that's true then you might be called to actually burn right? The possibility is there so they have no assurance in faith alone so they try by good works saying, " look at my good works I must be saved. " their salvation is really a works based salvation and they don't even realize it
@@roblane5699 good word. God only expects us to die to ourselves and pick up our cross daily. He doesn't look at the number of members in a church or how good the music is, He's looking a the fruits and if there's growth. The world wants their best life now but he desires that we decrease and Him to increase and allow Him work through us. No doubt there's gonna be a lot of people who lived a life of double mindedness who'll be surprised when the time comes. May God have mercy.

@@roblane5699 amen. I'm not a leader or a preacher. Gods called me to be a watchman. I wouldn't be go good as a pastor because I have no filter because of the hard life growing up and I tell it like it is. I deserve Hell for sure but I'm forgiven. I think all pastors and have special calling with a lot of accountability and should be honored. A leader I believe knows 1 Peter 5:3 and lives by it. " not having lordship over the flock as a dictator but being an example " ( I'm paraphrasing). I believe that we as believers need to have discernment who we should unite with in the end here because evil men have crept in unawares. Gods faithful who'll keep His remnant. Be blessed Rob

@DavidPawsonMinistry13 күн бұрын
HI I don't disagree with you but who are the real Christian Church? - many of the better churches today may not preach antisemitism but some teach Replacement Theology ie the Church has replaced Israel , Im sure you will agree ..........its actually antisemitism under a different banner
@mrnoedahl13 күн бұрын
@ Just because someone may believe in replacement theology does not make them antisemitic. I think you tend to overuse and under define that term. Just because I say something negative about Jewish people does not mean I am against them or hate them. It maybe a simple statement that is a fact or just an opinion. Many minorities are unfortunately super sensitive when it comes to any kind of negative statements about them, even when it is obviously true.

In addition, God will one day bring the entire nation then living to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, even as He now brings a remnant in each generation. Saved and added to the Church. The Church is the Israel of God, as the picture of her as the bride in Revelation 21, the holy city New Jerusalem, shows. The city has gates named for the 12 tribes, and foundations named for the 12 apostles.

Romans 9:3 For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race. I think Paul is very close to committing idolatry here because he seems to be putting his own love of his race above his love of the Lord. What do you think?

The Isealies in Isreal now are not the biblical Hebrew Isrealites. The black man in America are the true biblical Jews. Your teaches are good but all you white good preachers fail to mention that truth.

Hi an interesting view you have The tribes of Israel did spend a lot of time in Abraham came from Ur, in Mesopotamia, when God told him to go to the region of Moriah which is in Asia and believed to be in the land of Israel today - it is also believed that Eden was located somewhere in Mesopotamia so I dont know how the Israelites, decedents of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob could be African ? Don’t worry this is not a white racial comment - neither Israelites, nor Jews were ‘ white’ ..... they originated from the continent of Asia
@willielee52533 жыл бұрын
@Royal Flush, I was just thinking of how and why is it that blacks of those in America who say are "The True Jews" and the nominal christians of the western world consider themselves to have "Replaced Israel" and Arabs to be the "Blessed Son" of Abraham. It seems that a lot of people who've touch that bible have had thoughts and beliefs different from what the bible says of them. I wonder why???
@aservant22872 жыл бұрын
If that's true then why aren't the American black jews returning back to Israel to fulfill scripture like it says in Jeremiah 29:14? As we see that end is very close you better get a move on. They've done dna testing that proves that the priests and the jews that are in Israel now are the descendants of the Jewish ancestors. Nice try though. Does it matter? In Christ there's neither jew or gentiles but all are one in Christ
@georgefisher40697 жыл бұрын
the concept of " replacement theology" is a red herring. Grandpa here might consider reading Ephesians 2 & 3. as well, he might attempt understanding the grafting in of wild branches... and, the fact that the gospel dispenses with all distinctions. Or, is that too deep for his feeble old mind?
