Just popping in here to give you a pro tip about curling hair: place a comb between your skin and the curling iron before rolling it all the way to the base of the curl. This will prevent skin burns. Hope this helps!

Just grow it out, it's a lot more satisfying and kinda easier (in the sense of styling). Short trendy hair tends to also be high maintence, especially if your hair is prone to frizz.

Love the texture to your hair. I’ve got bone-straight/ perfect for the 70’s kibbutz id hair. It does not do curl.

I havr a suggestion to try for you if youd like. Lightly dampen your hair, very lightly. Then spray on a sugar/honey and water mix (dont worry its not sticky or crunchy after it dries its just like very nice set hold hair spray, and nice because its not matte). Spray that on before you braid your hair. English braid, the less and larger the braids the more wavy, and the more and smaller the braids your hair will be more kinky curly. Sleep on it or wait until it is totally dry, take it out and viola! Hopefully that should stay better in fine straight hair, and is still easy and quick to do. Looks great for updos.

I was always super jealous of my mom and her family’s straight shiny hair. It basically means art from the 1800s that was influenced by a fantasy medieval style, along with the bucking of current art dogma. Also refers to a specific group of painters who spearheaded the movement. All the pictures Rachel showed are considered Pre Rapaelite. Look up Rosetti and Dante i believe.. I love the look! Makes me wish I was a bored redhead :) Ouch on the burn! A small tip to help avoid that, take a comb and put it against your forehead between you and the curling iron. It will act as a buffer and allow for a nice, tight to the head without sizzling your flesh ..curl!
