Boo-Ed up might be my favorite new expression. I’ve been married for ever lol 38 years. So we’re low key at this point. Usually a special dinner at home. I bought my daughter the HOS lipstick case for her 30th birthday. The black enamel one. I’m not sure she uses it a lot but it looks pretty on her vanity (she’s got a toddler, is in grad school, and works as a stage manager in theaters so not a lot of time for fancy places)🖤

I also like Velvet Gardenia by Tom Ford, which was sadly discontinued years ago. I hope one day TF decides to relaunch it. Other smells that evoke a Romantic vibe for me are Burnt Roses by BTSO, Caswell Massey Elixir of Love, Guerlain Apres l'Ondee, YSL Mon Paris, Narciso Rodriguez All Of Me, Lancome Poeme, TBS White Musk Smoky Rose, Solstice Scent Rose Mallow Cream, Roja Elixir Pour Femme Parfum, DKNY Red Delicious Charmingly Delicious, & Rosa Galore by Attar Collection. Erotika Minimale peeks my interest; it sounds similar to the old La Perla La Perla perfume in the early 90's which I once wore and loved... Very... well... erotic. 🤫Ha! We don’t do big on Valentines Day. We do dinner either a night out somewhere nice or a special dinner that’s a little extra! We don’t do gifts we just make sure we make time to focus on each other. It’s worked for 15+ yrs. We just bought side of grass fed beef so we save the filet’s and we’ll add shrimp or lobster. I’ll make him a great dessert but I don’t do the sweets being a Type 1. He usually does a gift card to nursery and I’ll buy a special plant or tree for our yard or enclosed sunroom! Running joke with us about spending the money on a dozen roses just buy a rose bush and plant it!😂 We love this! I love Narciso Rouge but the last few months my special perfume has been K-Bridge Club from Xerjoff and we both love it on me! I did get Shunkoin and Dama Bianca with the sale! I’ll always love DB!! Musk Blanc Femme by Robert Piguet is never spoken about and you can only purchase it at the fragrance vault, but it is daydreamingly gorgeous. I think I will wear it this Valentine's Day. It's got hints of musk, peach, jasmine and some other floral notes. Great choice in makeup 😘😘🤗

🖤 I really love the structure of this- day into evening and beyond. Very clever! Not married now but was for 26 years working and raising kids. V day seemed like a lot of pressure so in the busy years we went together to the Barnes and Noble, browsed and treated ourselves each to a book or music cd and that was our vday present. Hi Veronica! Thanks for another awesome video. I appreciate the lesser known gems you have. Serge Lutens Rahat Loukoum is delicious - it reminds me of those old-school Valentine's heart candies kids used to hand out in class. In addition it has that plato smell like in Scarlet Poppy. My gripe with it, and most Serge Lutens fragrances, is the poor longevity for such a high price point. I picked up an old Victoria Secret perfume called "Romantic Bouquet" on ebay and it's heavenly, but I'm clueless on the note list. I think it's well-suited for this holiday. 💖
