Hey Veronica! Starting out on my fragrance journey, I knew I loved unisex fragrances and have mostly lingered in that corner but when I bought my first rose heavy scent, specifically Initio's Atomic Rose, I've completely switched gears into more feminine leaning notes. How is it so girly-sexy but somehow still unisex? Magic. Amouage has had a chokehold on me, which surprised me. Is it loud? Yup, but my GOODNESS is every scent a touch of fantasy. After finding your channel, Tiziana, Xerjoff, and, Bond No. 9 are at the top of my list! What incredible range these houses seem to have. Can't wait to dig in. 🤤

The idea of being able to do one round of sprays (and not heavy-handed, mind you) and still being able to smell these unique powerhouse fragrances the next day after a whole night of drinking and dancing is MIND BOGGLING to me! Coco 21 is the safest! I absolutely agree! I get complimented all the time I prefer it in colder temps ( my skin chemistry is so rude & wont welcome it in high heat 🤣) I really really need to try Delox the reviews are so mixed! Did I hear sale ? 😉 I’m still searching for my perfect Amouage I don’t mind unusual scents at all but something about there fragrances always end up animalic on me ( yes 🙌🙌🙌🙌 let’s talk about the white florals super feminine & classic ❤❤❤)

Yes, that’s a great idea to get samples first before buying big bottles. I have the Kayali Vanilla 28 in 100 ml and the Musk 12. I like the Musk 12, however I don’t like the Vanilla 28. My Vanilla 28 will sit on my glass tray in it’s box forever. Vanilla 28 is a very different vanilla and it is a very heavy Vanilla. I could blend it with other scent notes, however I’m not good at blending perfumes together. I don’t a channel or on any sale site to sell things. So I have learned my lesson on buying expensive perfume, specially if perfumes are over a hundred dollars. I don’t mind spending under 30 under with out samples. So yes, buy samples if you can. Love your videos and advice ❤

Hi Veronica! I’ve been following for a while and somehow I never realized you live in VA! I lived in Williamsburg for many years, love that area. My personal favorites from some of these houses are Absolute Aphrodisiac, Atomic Rose, Delina Rosee, Nolita, Rouge Smoking and Yum Pistachio Gelato. I’ve been wanting to try Dama Bianca and 100 Silent Ways for a while now. I’m also really excited for the new release from Initio! I haven’t tried psychedelic love, but your description makes it sound so appealing- I’ll need to get a sample. I’m not a big fan of TT; just not my style. But I’d like to try some from Amouage in the future. I started shopping on Jomashop after seeing you, and it has saved me so much money!

Love this video. . . . Yes to Delina Exclusif but for Bond No. 9 I would choose Madison Avenue (the one in the pink bottle), she is feminine classy shopping woman easy reach to me. Also, for Fragrance Du Bois, my choice is Secret Tryst. It has been COLD COLD COLD in Atlanta, and hubby has been snuggling me this weekend extra hard (since Secret Tryst is my scent for the weekend!). Bond no 9 is a fabulous house with a variety to choose from and I have not sampled everything but I have 4 fb (including Tribeca ). and a few samples/decants.... personally I would choose either New York Nights bc it's sexy, date night all yr fragrance , pretty versatile and I think it's relatively mass appealing or my 2nd choice would be Gold Coast , a fresh, watery fruity rose, super easy to wear and a very likeable fragrance 😍

I'm 100% on board with your definition. Utopia Coco is fantastic and I find it very appealing. I wish Kayali would keep their names simple. Some of my favorite "mass appeal" Niche are Clean Reserve Skin, PdM Galloway, I Profumi di Firenze Muschio e Ambra, Lake & Sky 1111, Creed Aventus Her, Creed Silver Mountain Water, Rosendo Mateu Nº 5, Initio Musk Therapy, Perris Monte Carlo Ylang Ylang Nosy Be. I am new to fragrance and am really enjoying your videos. I have added about 50 fragrances this last year and hope to keep adding to my collection and your videos are helping guide me. I usually buy a sample first from twisted lily or other discounted site. I like the 2-5 ml.. You mean lucky scent with the dabbers? Argh, they are so annoying. I’d really like to buy more from lucky scent because they have good inventory but those dabbers! You do get spray samples from scent spilt and from twisted lily, which I find much more sampling friendly!

I agree with these options. Easily likeable which doesn’t mean they’re not complex or interesting. As a Kayali stan, I just enjoy their range and Coco Vanille 21 is an absolute love and fav for summer. This is that IT summer day or night fragrance. The Silk Santal can easily have been in this list. Overall, your list is spot on…as usual. I’ll admit I haven’t been drawn to Bond or Tiziana fragrances, BUT I’m always a good sale away from trying out a house! 😂😂

Hi Veronica! What an awesome video idea! I'm kind of the opposite, though, especially with niche. If I'm going to shell out on a decant to test niche, I'm looking for something that sounds like it will smell different than anything I've smelled before. Maybe not completely wacko, because I try to be considerate of those near me, but not something I'll be able to say, "Oh! That smells like Blank Designer #1 or #2." To me, scent is an adventure! So I humbly request as a follow-up to this series, please do one for those who are looking for something outside the lines. 😊 But, again, this was a great video and I agree with your choices that I'm familiar with!

I agree! Scent is an adventure; however, many beginners to the hobby would prefer easing in gently. This video gives those folks some idea of relatively "safe" entry points before they join everyone else for the "adventure" part. Kind of like a zero entry pool. 💖
