I start every morning by opening my living room curtains for my plants. I'm in office 2 days/wk, but when I'm working from home I like to light my candle and get into a chill vibe for work. Creating little joys is huge--especially for those days when work is especially annoying. It looks like Thomas has a Keychron. I have 2 (one for home, one for office), and I love the sounds. His switches are MUCH clickier than mine tho. 😂 Is he getting used to it? Again--best of luck with your apartment search. I know it's not easy, but I know you'll find something that fits the bill (hopefully literally and figuratively lol).

Is your firm diverse? I’ve been out of college since 2021 and all of the jobs I’ve applied for especially in DC the DEI teams are surface level diverse and no one looked like me. Its discouraging because it just shows that DEI is just a buzz subcategory

I’d say a 1 bedroom on average right now in Arlington near the metros is $2600 right now on average. Completely unsustainable and out of hand

IMO Compared to the apartment you're in now, the one you guys toured doesn't come close. I mean that VIEW (and those windows) is spectacular! Just my opinion. :) But I'm guessing it's the cost of apartments now is crazy. So sad.:(
