The only problem with this that I can see is that it would eventually heat up to the point that the solder holding the copper wire on would melt as well... but other than that it's a great concept and seems to work great!

This question might be a bit dumb, but is the compressed air really necessary? Wouldn't bernoulli's principle cause air to be drawn in enough to create the same effect without having to have a compressed air reservoir?
@tfp9765
@tfp9765 8 жыл бұрын
as you can see, when he lowers the compressed air to a minimum it resembles a standard lighter flame. Completely cut the air and its basically a lighter. The fuel may be released at a compressed rate but once it exits the nozzle component it gets reduced to a regular flame.

just a suggestion, add a couple of aquarium check valves to prevent any backfire of gases into their containers.

No need, you are mixing your fuel and oxidizer only outside the nozzle - only in a premixed flame can the flame run up into the piping

+Adarsh Shamloll Everything is being forced outwards faster than the flame can travel. That's one of the reasons why its best/recommended to use the compressed air as to push the fuel mixture faster than the flame can travel up the pipe. Because of this it stays relatively cool. It works on the same principle as a bunsen burner.
