What an amazing start for Scandinavia. He weakened a nemesis to the west (DM) , crippled a threat to the south (Bohemia) , calmed a beast to the east (Muscovy) and is currently saving Aragon (or more accurately delaying his death). I can definitely see him being betrayed by Bavaria (maybe even PLC) or overwhelmed by a southern hugbox (i see no way for Aragon or Ottomans to survive) but the future is looking bright for Scandi. Atleast for now. Overall i think this series is going to evolve into north vs south (atleast in europe). With North devouring Bohemia and South taking the entirety of Mediterranean. I think that the north is going to need some serious help from Asia or America to win. Also is there a persia player? He can work as a counterbalance to Iraq for the south (assuming he exists)

Ehhh it's pretty standard Scandi scummyness, Scandi player is competent too. In DOD, they're the least populous of the Great Powers in Europe so early game is really important for them when the world isn't as industrialized yet and the wars are more decisive. If they don't put themselves in a good position in early game, like keeping connected ports, eating high pop regions etc, they can quickly become an irrelevant second rate naval power. They're basically GB in Vanilla but way less pop and way more vulnerable. It's Scandinavia that's perfidious in DOD, not Albion.

I wouldn't call it scummy, the Iberian war can't really be called a 1v1 given Aragon just took a huge loss in Italy, plus Scandi probably noticed the DM, Venice, and Spain alliance that was forming and allied with the only available player in the region to counterbalance them; Aragon. Spud convinced DM to join his war by saying he would help DM against Scandi and Burgundy so it only makes sense Scandi (now Venice's future enemy) would try to weaken Spain and Venice. Also the Scandi player says he never talked to Spain about staying out of this war.
