@@jjnolastname8386 Recessions in Vic 2 doesnt work because there are fundamental flaws in the games engine that never got fixed. For example buying goods from your spherelings have you pay money, but they do not recieve money, thus it is actually detrimental for them to sell to the sphere lord resulting in their economies crashing without reason. Also Swimmy does not have a degree, he is studying for one.

I liked how vic 2 had more stalemates because you would destroy to many units and would spend time rebuilding post war. It was more manual and made sense. Economy and politics is good in 3 but they need to fix war.
