I have visited and stayed in Rome a countless amount of times. These walking tours bring back so many good memories. I usually stay somewhere near the Esquiline Hill. I have walked alone around Termini at 1 AM many times and have never felt unsafe.......just be cautious as you would in any large city!!!!

I was mugged by three men here at the termini last month where I was violently assaulted by 3 men and had my passport and wallet stolen from me. They tried to steal my camera but I had my hand wrapped tightly around it. Other opportunists tried telling me to give them 100 euros to get it back for me. The cops will do the bare minimum to help you. Avoid this area all together if possible.

We might have to walk to the station from nearby airbnb early morning like 4:30AM to catch Leonardo Express to early flight at the airport for 7:30am flight. Do you think it is safe or should I take a taxi?

Leonardo express train is faster to get to the airport from the Termini station.

My wife got harassed 2 days ago Roma Termini..in broad daylight while I was in the toilet. No one stood up for her while she was getting harassed. This is a huge reason while I will never go back to Rome.

Rome termini at night is very very dangerous, don ' t walk through via Marsala via Giolitti, via Manin it s not safe at all, especially for women. Please bè carefull, stay safe.

It's not possible to stay at the Termini throughout the night. The station is locked I think around 1 am at night. You should look for a nearby hotel or Airbnb for the night.

@@AmazingWalkingTour I live near Rome it has changed. Thank god it wasn’t a nice place too be at night a few years ago there are more police around patrolling they don’t have uniforms It was not nice a few ago. That’s why I asked about late at if it was safe
