Where did u stay in Rome. Looking for recommendations for hotels going in October

I stayed at a hostel called Yellow Square which was good and easily accessible to the city via the metro or a 30min walk into the city centre. Depending on your budget I'd recommend either the Hive hotel, Hotel Adriano or Mercure Roma Centro for something a little more mid range if you want to be closer to in town :)

It is not Parmigiano, it's Pecorino Romano

Thats good to know that pecorino is traditionally used for carbonara thanks!! 😊

The cheese in Carbonara is Pecorino Romano, not the Parmigiano - Reggiano. Greetings from Florence

For sure Florence requires a lot more research to appreciate what the city offers in terms of history and culture, whereas the attractions in Rome are recognized by pretty much everyone around the world.

absolutely! culturally and historically Florence is very rich. I think I just have very high expectations of Florence and much lower expectations of Rome for some reason and therefore was pleasantly surprised by Rome!
