It is not easy playing with Rome, and winning is even harder. But if one knows how to do it, Rome is a beast, and mostly because of moral! Not to mention huge armor, defence and all kind of abilities like defensive and square formations. They have it all!

Dont be afraid to use your Numidians in Melee. They will do better than you think. Instead of running from the horse archers, attack them, youre faster.

Indeed, the main reason I waited a while to do it though is that he had noble skirmishers. Very heavy armor and solid stats. Eventually I did melee engage with the numidians but it was far too late. Maybe I could’ve dragged his cav away and then tried your suggestion

@@Immersaholic ofcourse. Strategic face offs in multiplayer and very sarisfying faction guides for DEI. Made me start an Athens campaign yesterday. Managed to conquer asia minor, greece and macedon. Fixed my east and im ready to take on Rome

ranged units usefull only in grand compaing, for the most part, especialy for Roma, you just spam mele, the heavier - the better

It’s definitely very hard to get them to be worth it in online battles. I used them today while recording more battles and it was tough

Great grind match for the V!!! Do you or any of your viewers have a suggestion for me... I used to be able to single click for an attack/sprint. Then a few months ago all of a sudden I must double click to get the sprint. Seems small but in middle of heated combat this has made a huge difference. Anyone know how to switch back to single click for attack/sprint?!?!?

Thanks mate! Umm I’d suggest checking your in game settings, either under game settings or control settings you might be able to change it. I know you can for either TW titles. Or it might just be that DeI team changed it. Double clicking will get you the same result as before too.

Thanks for the reply! Definitely checked the settings 3 or 4 times already... I was hoping there was some trick (like for a while in vanilla if I remember correctly, you had to ctrl M to merge and a lot of players, including I, didn't know about that for a while)... Anyway awesome videos man, keep up the great work 👍

Javlins actually kill horse archers pretty fast, it might have been better to try to counter skirmish.

They are good at that but the range of the archers would’ve made my cav get worn down faster. I’m also no where near as good as Andre so I knew he would micro the cav better 😆

I’ll try to but the problem with that is that it’s super laggy with so many units. I do have a few of them already on the channel, will do what I can though 🤓

@@Immersaholic There is a one whay to do that withoud lags - Other Members of battel have to set graphics to low , I done 4vs4 with DEI on 42 FPS soo i guess is good enough

More for kind of memory of old times but yeah there is always some options of sharing screens during recording. Soo you will not use your own cpu. Ithing nivida have something like that

Pontus wasn’t dedicated enough, or positioned to hold the high ground and that was the biggest reason they lost

Probably but to be fair in most online battles there is a gentleman’s agreement to not just sit and camp a hill

@@Immersaholic - you guys should determine before hand who the attacker and who the defender will be. Then you put the onus on the attacker to take the initiative. Flip a coin

Sometimes people will do this, other times its just a battle to see what happens and have fun with it. It's not such a big deal in a exhibition match like this. The tournaments we run are different though.@@syndicat4847

Oh for sure, your armies will often be smaller than the enemies. But your units are also disgusting in how long they can survive for
