Oh Romee I was so frightened for you. It was powerful to watch the trigger building up in you as you tried to be polite like we’ve been socialised to, but the rising panic told you something was wrong. I’m so glad you’re okay. Mahne look at what ways you can improve your safety and security. Love to you. Ladies, a little, womens life pro tip - immediately lock doors & if someone ever asks if you live there, just say “No, I’m waiting for my brother, he’s around the corner, is there a problem?”. Don’t wind the window down beyond the tiniest sliver. Have your keys in the ignition, start the car, handbrake off. Be assertive. Make direct eye contact. Don’t smile. Don’t use any words which communicate minimisation, meekness or politeness, or being apologetic; just, sorry, oops, hi, so, um, I think, etc. It’s your safety, body, car, life and they have approached you. Just because they have approached or are speaking to you does not in any way obligate you to spend any time talking to them, hearing them out beyond the initial clarification, or staying in their presence/the area. You can leave. Trust your gut. Our brains are picking up on tiny little cues that there is possible threat, or tiny little signs that something isn’t acting how it should. That’s our gut feeling. Respect it. Also remember you have a horn.

Yes this is all so important for young women to hear. Predators use your socialization and good manners against you. Girls and women are expected to be kind, helpful and friendly. But you are not obligated to talk to anyone and it is better to be thought of as rude than to be kidnapped. No man should approaching you while you're alone in your car anyway, so he's the rude one.

If anyone tries to approach you like that again do not tell them anything, you owe them no explanation. Just say you are authorised to be there and to get away from your vehicle or you'll call the police. And please do not open your window! Feeling the need to explain yourself is common, especially when your caught of guard but it also comes of as very weak and makes you an easy target; he knows where you live, that you where by yourself, that you overshare and that you where waiting for him to leave as opposed to taking control of the situation.

I usually separate my basil into a bigger pot (with soil for herbs and some long-term fertilizer) and put it next to a window/outside in the summer. You also have to pluck it regularly so it gets more bushy :)

@@Thelordsrain agree. They need full sun and a lot of water. Also, when you buy them in the grocery store, they are usually planted too densely...I prefer buying seeds and planting only a few. They grow quite fast

keep your basil by the window, it needs light and sun + a lot of water:) Also when you use some of it, don't take off the top leaves, just harvest from down on the sides. That way it will continue to grow new leaves. You rock your hair btw :)

Your basil could be "root bound"/"pot bound" where there are more roots than soil. If so, you can pull it out of the pot, trim off about half the roots, then add more soil. Basil likes a lot of sun. And pinch the tops off which will make it branch out and bushier. I'm just now planting my basil. Smells so good!

I think your Basil may need a little bit bigger of a pot, that is most likely why you are needing to water it so often :) You will be able to tell for sure if you pull the plant out, and see that the roots have grown all around the sides of the soil Basil is also a “cut again come again” plant, where the more that you harvest it, the more that you can grow, and the better the Basil will taste! It is shocking how much Basil you are able to cut off, just to find that it has completely grown back within the next week! It is also very simple to take a single cutting of the Basil, and propagate it, to create a whole new Basil plant from just one stem :) If your plants ever seem to be really suffering, you can give them a little bit of fertilizer, I love to use fish emulsion because it’s an organic source of all of the minerals that they need 💚

@@martinafranz4101 Very true! It does look a little “leggy” which is when the plant is literally trying to stretch out to search for the light, and pruning it more regularly will help it to become wider and bushier rather than tall and lanky as well 😄

I'm a curly hair girl. Here are some of my tips: use your dryer on the lowest heat and air settings, my favourite ranges of hair products are John Frieda ( particularly the shampoo and conditioner and hair serum for curly hair), Hask shampoo and conditioner (particularly moisturising or thickening). Above all, find a hairdresser who knows how to cut curly hair and when you find someone who cuts your hair well, stick with them. Good luck, and rock those curls. Others pay big dollars for what nature has given you there.

I cannot recommend it enough as I've been assaulted when I was a teenager coming back from school - if it weren't for a man nearby (the only other person on the street at the time, in the middle of the city) I would've been helpless.

Sometimes when cleaning fruit its an idea to put some salt in the water and let them soak for a couple of mins so insects float as they try to escape the salt. Cut and use yge basil to thicken the plant and repot using good compost thats free draining. Also put in the sun for at least a couple of hours a day. Herbs aren't too keen on being too wet. Loved the tomato analogy. I too struggle with my inbuilt thermostat which doesn't seem to work and I get very red faced doing exercise. 💛💚♥️

Just a tip: next time when a guy asks you what you are doing, just say you are video chatting a friend or your father. The chance is, you will be left alone faster than when you say you are speaking to your camera (in all fairness, that sounds odd unless you know the person is a youtuber and the man probably hoped you have some stuff to share with him :D). Also, people don't attack someone actively involved in a conversation with another person because they know you have a witness.

Like a box of instant cake mix, basil plants just need water. Keep the soil of your basil plants slightly moist at all times. Depending on how much sun your basil gets, you might need to water your basil plant every 1-2 days. But make sure that the pot has good drainage, because soggy soil can lead to rotting roots. And the plant does need morning sunlight, I've read.

Hey Romee, I’m a curly girl to. I use the brand Deva curl. The Deva curl gel is really nice and leaves soft curls. There’s also Hair stylist that specialize in Deva haircuts. Just ask the salon. If you want a curlier look, leave it more wet, and put in the gel. Then scrunch the hair. Once it’s dry, you scrunch again to break the crunchy gel mold. Your curls will be big, bouncy and soft 💕 Jojo

If you saw what lives in them you would be shocked. I lived in Alaska. Inside the big fat juicy blueberries were little white worms. We used to have to soak them in salt water for hours until they came to surface and then rinse them over and over. It is true

I used to love organic cream of whole grains. One day I was making a bowl of it, and a dead bug plopped out of the box and into my bowl. It was super gross. Then I made a big mistake of getting my little magnifier out to have a better look at it. It was so disgusting and had tiny little "hairs" on each side of its body. I looked it up and it was a "wheat weevil." Apparently they are often in our grains but are usually chopped up so we don't see them. Gross. I never ate that hot cereal again.
