Oh my goodness. You have this rare beauty in your dance. It is breath taking. Extensions, grace, such loveliness, musicality and that lyrical ability to convey emotions. You are truly one of the most beautiful Juliets.. Such a pity we can't watch you dance anymore. I will cherish this video and I hope they don't take it down.. Thank you for the upload.

I like how you point out that even at this level, no performance is 100% perfect. I think it may help less experienced performers to understand that while they may focus on any and all errors, the audience only sees a beautiful performance.

Awesome performance!!! And also, you may add new hilarious quotes to some t-shirts: 4:49 "if they go right it's the best feeling in the world" 4:56 "let's do some jumping for joy! because, you know our legs aren't tired yet" 6:29 "ok... I need a second wind from somewhere" 6:40 "still have to look like "oh! I'm having the time of my life!"" 7:15 "without fail, every time a bead of his sweat would drop right in the middle of my eyes... very romantic!" 7:22 "... and it was like "plink!" and then we had two kids" 8:47 "Don't fall off the balcony! because you'll ruin the ballet" (AHAHA)

Thank you soooo much Katie!! You are one of my greatest inspirations! I am a late starter in ballet(I started at age 13), and you have helped me to begin to catch up with other girls my age. I went to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s summer course this past year and was placed with girls my age! Thanks so much for helping me to get where I am now. I hope to meet you someday. It would be a dream come true. ❤️

Kathryn, you are literally the most charming human being... I never get sick of watching this because of how funny you are and you’re like “ooof not good. Turn out Katie. That would be nice... and then this was awesome if it went right but then this was like HOOEY because you’re dead and then run up the stairs, don’t fall, look out for the hole and don’t ruin the ballet then kiss for this many counts...” it’s hilarious and endearing and such a wonderful thing to share with aspiring dancers or people who never had the opportunity or talent to dance. Thank you for your grace and your love and your wonderful spirit. So thankful for you 🙏🏼💙

I like the way you always give credit as a choreographer to Peter Martins, who chose you for so many wonderful roles. In the video I saw about why he was let go of the directorship of the ballet - you were properly respectful toward him and reiterated that your relationship was strictly professional. And now Katie, I have to critique something. You gave your message once and that was strong and effective. Then you said it again. And again. And again. And then mentioned rumors - all this is too much! It's much more effective if you tell us once. And once only. Avoid the temptation to repeat. I'm almost 70 and have performance experience and I do know what is effective. But you are truly charming, spontaneous, and uncommonly beautiful. Be grateful for your gifts!

Wow you're amazing, you look so so effortless and great great emotions too!!! No wonder your portrayal was iconic to make New York Times!!! It was great acting AND dancing at the same time. and you're right... hard not to portray it as "tragic" since you're supposed to be living out Julie's life and no way is she clairvoyant.... one has to look blissfully ignorant but I guess sad that they have to hide their love. It was just perfect how nothing is overdone! So convincing as Juliet indeed. Shakespeare would be proud. and whoever choreographed the original first Romeo and Juliet to set this to ballet and music. he would probably think the portrayal is perfect too. 😊
