I don’t really like to comment on people’s relationship, but I just really wanted to get this off my chest. Lmao. You and Romeo compliment each other so well. You definitely “feel” different when Romeo’s around, not like a huge difference, like there’s a little extra pep in your step kinda thing and a tad calmer. Lol. I’m 1000% on the same page with Romeo on the holiday topic. Just like it was stated by Franklin in ‘Its Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown’, “Do you realize you’re adding to the over-commercializing of Christmas” when Charlie Brown was selling Christmas wreaths before Thanksgiving. So true! It takes away from the excitement of the present holiday and especially when you live in the deep southern states, it never feels like winter until February and the rest of the year it’s either mild or hot as Hades! 😤

I’m an American living in Germany, where the Christmas tree tradition originated, and yes most people wait until the day or week before Christmas to get there tree. Decorating the tree was a part of Christmas Eve I believe.

Total agreement with Romeo about them rushing us through the seasons. It makes me so mad, too lol. Side note to that, they do it with clothing as well and it’s really not good. I live in Canada. Winter is no joke here and kids grow FAST. If you don’t get winter gear as soon as it comes out (before winter has even begun) good luck finding things you may need when your kiddo has a growth spurt unexpectedly and suddenly or something gets destroyed. Augh. Annnyyyhow I was just nodding my head emphatically when he was expressing his great displeasure 😅. We are notorious late shoppers for Christmas as well. I’ve had a few years here and there when I have most of my shopping done by October/November, but usually it’s the few days before. It just comes too fast!!!

Hatch restore is awesome. I got one a couple years ago and I sleep much better. You can program a whole nighttime sleep routine and wakeup routine. You do have to pay a yearly fee around ($50) to access the full catalog of stuff

My mom was born in Europe. On December 24th, poor December baby. In many European countries Saint Nicholas brings the tree and does all the decorating and gifts on Christmas Eve. The kids awake Christmas morning to a tree and gifts.
