I decorate day after Halloween, because I’m often hosting thanksgiving and Christmas and have to attend so many that I spend so much time cooking. So, beginning of November until end of January (after my anniversary) then spring cleaning a bit early

y'all could maybe trim some of the bottom branches of the tree (which could help make the tree stump more secure in the pot), and you can use the trimmed branches on the mantel as a garland!

I access books and audiobooks through my public library. They are also connected to branches in other cities in our province as well as being connected to two other platforms. One is for music, the other is for books and audiobooks. All of this is free. The only drawback is the waitlist on some popular items and the borrow time may be too short to finish the book if one is really busy.

Hey Macenna you should sign up for a library card at the library while you're in LA and get one in Texas too, you can borrow ebooks on the Libby app for free! Its compatible with phones and tablets and Kindle readers too. Game changer for me really. 💜

I read during my commute to work (on the train). A kindle is super lightweight, takes up next to no space, you can hold it with one hand, and if i finish a book on my way to work chances are i already have an another one to start on my way home. I have it in my bag every single day and i always have it if im unexpectedly stuck somewhere like in a waiting room longer than expected. I feel like its extremely practical especially if you read on the go.

I took me awhile to get accustomed to the Kindle, but now it’s so convenient. Not good for reference, but novels are great. Make sure to get a PaperWhite to read in the dark.

Kindle Fire is the best for both books and watching movies, etc. I have had mine for about 8 years now and even traveled with it to Europe because it was so much easier to take in a carryon so you will not regret getting one!

I used to be a person who refused to read a digital book cause I wanted a physical book to disconnect from technology, but my sister got me a kindle for Christmas a few years ago and the amount I read has almost doubled. But I also read on my phone on the kindle app with library books through Libby more often 😂

I LOVE Libby!! I have gone through SO many audio books with Libby! When I walk the dog, vacuum, do dishes, etc. I’ve got an audio book going. When I sit to relax, I read books from Libby on my Kindle app. Free, free, free!!

Libby is a way to check out digital content from your local library. I get my books from Libby delivered to my Kindle.

I love Jane Austen! If you haven’t read her books, you should. She was so witty! I have read all her books, including her unfinished book, Sandinton. Unfortunately she did not get to write too many books in her lifetime. But she was brilliant.

@@TamarLitvot I’ve read it so many times! Love it! If you haven’t read Sandinton, I recommend it. She left it unfinished before dying and someone else finished writing it. The style is so similar that it is hard to know how much she wrote of the novel.

I did get one and I used it for about a month and now it's on the shelf. I reverted back to the actual books. I prefer to turn the actual paper pages. Good luck in your purchase.

You can download the kindle app on any of your devices and don't have to buy a Kindle. I read a lot and used to wear them out. I have gone through about 5 of them and finally decided to just read from my phone or laptop.

I have a Kindle Paperwhite!I like it because you can read outdoors and there is no glare, and in bed with the lights off without it being so bright... books are cheap, and you can read the first few pages before buying.... I do feel like it's a different vibe then an actual book, but I would rather spend more money on a book that means more to me... I also love how I can give books to people after I read them and I can't do that with the Kindle. Mostly enjoy the convenience of it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve never been this early for a video. Yaaaaay! I love the old books too. I just got some 100 plus year old German Bibles/books from a thrift shop back in September. I put them out for Halloween but have kept them out because I love them so much. Because dark academia is my vibe all the way!! I rapped some velvet ribbon around them. B+N has the Nook e-reader, kindle is amazon. I've had my nook for years, absolutely luv it but if I had to replace it I would go kindle or just a good tablet. Such a pleasure to have for night reading, not having to carry a second book if I'm close to finishing one, and sometimes I will be reading more than one at the same time. Enjoy!!!

A kindle is the best thing I ever got. I was always a book girl but for travelling to work on the train a kindle was more convenient. 5yrs later & just got a new one for christmas. The paperwhites are definitely better than the normal ones. Happy reading.

You're going to love a kindle! I used to only read from physical books, but quickly learned to love the Kindle. I love that I can download new books so fast, and it fits in my purse, less bulky to carry around and read on the go!

You can read kindle on any laptop or ipad- no need to buy a separate unit. That is what I do when I get a kindle book. Having said that, sometimes I just want to hold the book on paper in my hand. It's so much more satisfying to me.

The two times I got a real tree I got a Norwegian Spruce. It wasn’t until the second Christmas breaking out in itchy lumps I realised I was allergic. I used to live in the middle of a pine forest as a kid so I know I’m ok with those.

I inherited my mums kindle a number of years ago, it’s great for travel, mine has a lovely zip cover and books are a lot cheaper. I still love printed books and only keep the ones I love especially vintage books

Love my Kindles! I've had one since they first came out. I prefer the Kindle Fire, just treated myself to a new Kindle Fire 10", because I not only read, I like to watch movies and shows on it. If you use your iPad for media, and you want it just for reading, then the Kindle Paperwhite is the way to go. Merry Christmas to all of you!

I love my kindle especially for bed reading, you can lay on your side without needing two hands and can read in a dark room etc - I read mine most before I go to sleep and if I wake up super early but don't want to get up yet! Kindle unlimited is great too, I know it'l be post-xmas day but if you're still feeling seasonal they have great festive reads on there - Tis The Season For Revenge, Sleigh You'll Stay etc!
