I also came to the comments to help with the couscous! 😂 Bring water/stock to a boil then stir your couscous in. Put a lid on the pot and remove it from the heat. Let it sit for 5 minutes and DONE! I like a lot of garlic or shallot/onion in everything I eat so usually I will sauté that in the same sauce pot before I boil the liquid!

Macenna and Romeo’s relationship is such goals. I honestly don’t know anyone else who have such respect for each other. They are good friends, and you can tell there is no resentment or animosity by the way they communicate with each other. They are the blueprint ❤
@Lucinda_Jackson23 сағат бұрын
My parents were like this - got married when Daddy was 23 and Mother was 20. Were together very happily and respectfully until he died at 77. They were still very much in love and never really fought - little spats here and there that resulted in a half hour of silence and some eye rolls, but nothing more. My best friend and her husband have the same kind of relationship. They share some interests, but are really supportive of each other's outside interests. Nothing but respect and love. They also met at work and were friends. She almost refused to go out with him on an actual date because she was afraid of losing such a wonderful friend until she realized he had actually become so much more already. He, of course, had already figured that part out so it worked beautifully.
@lisatheintuitive21 сағат бұрын
@@Lucinda_Jackson I honestly think Macenna and Romeo together in a video is my favourite part because they display such a wonderful relationship and always have. You can always tell by how a couple speaks to each other what they really feel about the other and these two have such a beautiful mutual respect and admiration of each other, it warms my heart ☺️
@Lucinda_Jackson21 сағат бұрын
@ I feel the same. I, too, love to watch them together. I love to watch their faces when they speak about one another (99% MaCenna since it's her channel and her talking). There's a gentleness, a softening and a sparkle. They tease, but never in a mean way. They just have fun and laugh together. I think if I had one piece of advice to young couples starting out, it would be if you find you're not having as much fun or laughing as much together, start working on things! I didn't say it, but my daughter is lucky enough to have this same relationship with her husband. It's a joy to watch! And I'm happy my grandchildren are growing up with such a positive example to follow.

I wonder how it would have been if they were alone or far apart. They are a blessing to each other. When I leave, they will have each other and it will make it so much easier. IMO nothing is more wonderful than have children that have siblings I am so blessed as a mom. I'm so happy for you and Romeo. That’s a great attitude to being a parent - just roll with it. My daughter is 11 now, but she was born at 28 weeks, so none of the usual milestones ever applied to her. It actually felt like a pressure had been lifted to not have to compare her to any other baby. My mum said not to forget that when she had me, they didn’t have the internet and social media, you just carried on and occasionally got advice from your mum, family or friends. And it wasn’t advice you had to take either!

Hey sweetheart. Well my 2 children were 5 yrs almost to the day, apart. In most ways it was great! (Boy first then my girl) it gave me one on one time with my daughter becuz my son was starting school when I had her. (Shortly after that, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, he is ur age now, has deficits from treatment but he’s cancer free. Praise God!) ANYWAY, I think waiting at least 2 years is a good plan!! I feel if u have them closer, neither gets the best of you when they really need it, but you’ve gotta do what works best for u guys!! ENJOY Cade, they are little for such a short time. I totally agree with making a life with a partner who is your best friend. When I met my husband, I was dating someone else. But he became my best friend, and we talked for hours every night on the phone. Of course, we fell in love. That was 37 years ago, and he is STILL my favorite person to be with, and we just love being together, even if it's shopping, or cooking etc. We have had some very major traumatic events over the years (losing our parents very early in life) and one of our children had a major stroke at 22. But those events brought us closer together because we see things the same way. We are a TEAM!!

My boys are 2 years and 3 months apart. I love how close they both are, and I think the close age has really impacted that. I was 38 with my first and 40 with the second, not a norm at the time. They continue to keep me feeling young, and their age made others think I was younger than I am. I wanted to be prepared parents offering a great life to my children and thought being older and more mature would be best. I learned life doesn't always follow expected paths. For sure it has really been most important to my sons to be so close in age. You are right life pushes you in different ways, and I so agree COVID made it a less than ideal time for Moms and Dads. My sons were grown, but in at risk work, so I worried about them, something that evolves, but still remains in its own way for parents.

I think 3 is a great gap. Three year olds want to help and be like their parents. They are pretty good at following directions at that age, too (assuming they are age appropriate). They're also ready for some independence and this is the perfect combination for being able to love the baby without being too jealous (because they've already begun separating) and wanting to bring you diapers or whatever else you need.

I always buy rolls of ribbon from Hobby Lobby to wrap presents and they look beautiful. Plus you can reuse them. Regarding babies just be aware that the older you get the harder it is to conceive. So waiting is a risk. You may be just fine having one, but if you really want another child you should not take the risk of waiting too long.

For the couscous issue: I start cooking it on a pot (usually a cup for two people), I cook in some olive oil for a minute untill it's a bit toasted and then I pour the same amount in volume of water and a pinch of salt in the couscous pot, turn off the heat, cover and let it sit for 5 minutes, then I fluffy it up with a fork. But the first moment I looked at my baby, I knew I would use my wife as a human shield to protect her. Perfectly describes the unconditional love a parent can feel for their child. I’m not surprised that Cade is your everything. My daughter is my everything. I walked off a job recently because my boss wanted me to put work before her and her needs. Not going to happen. I recently bought a different house after living in mine 20 years and I couldn’t believe how long it took me to hang my art. I had lots of nail holes to repair from the previous owners but I added many many more. Some of them I moved three times but I am crazy to NOT have them too high. Also couldn’t decide the correct room so moved them around but thankfully I love doing touch up paint so all is well with my soul and walls.

Cous cous is very easy. 1 cup cous cous.....1.5 cups boiling water. Place into a pyrex bowl and add water, cover and leave. It absorbs the water and expands. Leave for a few hours and fluff up with a fork....😊

My boys are 15 months apart ( I was in my 30’s and clock was ticking). It was challenging at first, like having twins but you do have help with Romeo. After the diaper phase it was easier and a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

I had two under two, two boys 21 months apart. It was not planned but so welcome and a lot (builded a house when they were three and nearly two with a lot of diy) but it was great. I would do it again and would highly recommend. Their needs were different but similar. Three years after my second boy my doughter was born. That felt like starting new. But it felt very special too, because at 33 (being 28 when having my first was 1997 a high risk „gereatric“ pregnancy, called a „late mum“ in Germany) i knew she would be my last child (and finally a girl!). My boys were stunning big brothers and now they are nearly 28, 26 and nearly 23, they all went different ways but are still close. I was a working mum (28 hours per week) and glad to have help from my mother in law (sometimes difficult… if you know you know). When the kids were three, they went to the kindergarden from 8.30 am till 12.30. My children are the sense of my life. ❤
