Professional baker here. Once you've made your dough flatten it a little then put it in the fridge to harden, or 10 minutes in the freezer if you're in a rush. Much easier to manipulate, a lot less messy and your cookies will hold their shape better. Also tastes better.

My Mom tried that once when we were kids with our Jack Russel terrier, he would always get excited when us kids would get something so she decided to wrap one of his toys and let him open it. He tore into it so excited and once he had the toy out he gave us the most exasperated expression a dog could muster. He knew it was an old toy, and was disgusted we would deign to do such a thing.

That’s a great idea, but it probably wouldn’t be big enough for a work station for everything MaCenna needs. Computer equipment takes up a lot of room on a desk. I do like the idea of hiding it all though!

Great video and I Love the candle stick sconce on the wall. Beautiful. In baking cream of tarter is a rising agent to assist the cookies to get puffy or larger. It doesn't have a taste really, unless you use large quantities for huge amounts of baking. Cream of tarter with baking soda makes a type of acidic action that is baking powder. Your cookies look delicious and my sisters love snickerdoodles! One of the fav's. I am so enjoying your vlogs. I can't wait to see the next vlog. Loving your channel for so long. I’m also a new mom and what I realised is, she does not show you everything. So don’t feel that way 😞 . For instance, 10min of this video was recorded in the morning then at 4:30pm she planned to go grocery shopping. There is a lot of hours is between to do all those things you mentioned. Her partner helps loads, something that some moms are not lucky to have.

M, you need a roll out cookie recipe for cutters. They hold the shape better. Snickerdoodles are a drop cookie. They spread and rise. But they are one of my faves!

I would use one of the smaller snowflakes inside the larger ones to make like an outline of a snowflake cookie. It would be thinner and less dough so maybe a better shape in the end. I think you can also pop them into the freezer to set for a few minutes before baking to help keep the shape too.

I have that ergobaby carrier too! My kine told me to wear it crossed on the back because thats better. Little tricky in the beginning if you’re in your own with cade but you can bend to the side a bit and throw the strap over your shoulder and then reach for the clippy part near your lower back while bending sideways. Hard to describe haha but once you get the hang of it its easier and better for your back because they grow so fast 🥹

The "other one" would be wanted for its canvas. Stretched canvases bought new are expensive! But a used canvas can be painted over, and then you've got a blank slate for your own vision. So I hope you will donate that one as well as the pretty one. :D

Your flowers will be fine outside as most can tolerate LA climate. If you go to the garden centre they have what’s in season in your area. Should be fine! Even in the uk where it’s a lot colder I plant winter pots using small fern trees, winter pansies, ivy and cyclemen. They are lovely right through til easter

I would use the old windows from the old diningroom and kitchen. The ones you took out and reuse them into the bookshelves. I reused some of my grandfathers 120 year old windows and built a chinacabinet. Love old windows.

Instead of burning candles around the house maybe try the candles that look real that use batteries that way you get less soot smelling of lighted candles. I've taken to either putting them right back in the car as soon as groceries are put away, or I leave them by my shoes so that I can grab them on my way put to put them back in the car.
