Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I never do any of my digitizing myself I always send it out. Nice to see some basics to get me started. Do you have any advice in working with metallic thread.?
@RomeroThreads3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the message! With metallic thread, I always use a size 90 needle and slow the machine way, way down. You might want to put a net sock on the thread also because it doesn't unravel like normal thread. It can be a headache at 1st but after a couple rounds, you get use to it.

Thank you sooomuch for sharing of your knowledge. I'm a new subscriber to your channel and am loving learning about embroidery. On using Disney characters do you need to get licensed with the Disney company?
@RomeroThreads3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for your message. Any commercial use with Disney requires a license.

I just purchased a larger font from Etsy and there are huge gaps in my project. Could you recommend what I should do to fix?
@RomeroThreads2 жыл бұрын
You would need the actual design file to adjust the density or add underlay, the main reason why you may have gaps. It all depends what settings are available when you open the design.

Romero is there a way to eliminate the lockstitch knots on small text? I can minimize them by connecting where appropriate but I wonder if there is a way of burying your start stitches while not using a lockstitch. I can see on the end stitch you would still need a lockstitch. Would this weaken the embroidery at all or is an acceptable way of doing this.
@RomeroThreads2 жыл бұрын
You can bury start stitches under the center part of a text but at the very end you have to place a tie off stitch. Its always recommended to tie in and tie out, especially small text because the thread can loosen up and unravel. Yes, you can minimize them and you may create your own tie ins too.
