This is literally me, my dad and my baa (Grandma). I prepare to make food for me, my dad and my brother. Then my dad comes home from work saying that baa has given us food; we have to eat it. Most of the time I haven't even started making dinner, but a bunch of times I was in the middle of making it. It is not a little amount of food as well. It is an Indian care package that could feed three families. This entire video sums up dinner time. Side note - my dad doesn't find the food spicy enough when I make it. When my grandma makes it, it can be spicy. Or my dad would eat four chilli's and I wait for a waterfall to appear on his head.
