First trip to Torino coming up in Feb. of '23. My Italian language skills are minimal, and I'm just curious about how common English is in restaurants and cafes? Not so much spoken, but maybe on signs and menus. I've heard it's less common over all than in the other big cities.

That's great, you will love Torino! You will be fine speaking English in restaurants and cafes. Torino is in fact a big city with plenty of international tourism. Have a great time!

RomeWise Yes, the Royal Palace is a must see, but there's another Royal Palace just outside Torino that if not this time, you must visit on your next visit, called La Reggia di Venaria Reale, it is huge and such beautiful gardens😘🤗
