The second year of college, psychology class. There was two sistas that said in class that there was no good black men out there. I was one of two black men in the class , we just shook our heads. The professor and two country white women challenged them and they could not give a reason...this was the early nineties and even today you can feel the anomosity just walking near these young black women....????

Makes perfect sense. How is someone supposed deal with someone isn't what they are use too. Good men are foreign to them. A lot of them like the power they have over a man. A man who isn't shit is easier for them to control.

I notice young black women never say; there is a shortage of good black men but the middle aged and mature aged black women do. There's only a shortage of good black men when there appeal is shorten due to her aging. It's add and subtracting. The dude they want later in their late ages are already gone to time and marriage but those same dudes is what they need and want but isn't available or if they are available, that dude isn't interested anymore. Black women can't expect a good dude from 2005 to still want her in 2016 and beyond. They actually think they still have it but the woman ages like milk and men age like fine wine.

This is 1000 percent accurate and I experienced several times in my early 30s. I admit I am lucky being raised in a grounded household that had a big influence on who I became. By 30, I had a masters degree, no kids, a middle management job with a small office. In the company, saw a woman who I liked and asked her to lunch and she said yes. Instead , I saw her hanging with the toothless cafeteria cook when we were supposed to meet. Another example when a woman turned me die was when I learned she thought I was not street enough. Granted, as I got older I did find black women who appreciated me but when I was younger I could not figure out what was wrong with me. I later realized it was them not me.
@MrAmbassador116 жыл бұрын
People attract what they put out, you get what you give and you are who you date. In general, women will not admit that they are not spiritually developed enough to enter relationships with certain types of men. Then, in an effort to protect their egos, they say there is something wrong with these men. If you are a decent man and find yourself "rejected" by women because you are decent, like the man said; don't take it personally. In essence, you really have more important (much more important) concerns in life to think about than what women think. There is not a woman on the face of this Earth that is in any position to define you.

My honest and frank opinion(s): 1. When I was high school, many of the black girls never gave me the time of day. I wasn't a thug, wasn't a star athlete, nor was I the popular cool guy. But the white girls and Asian girls liked me a lot. So who do think I spent my time and energy with? That was my first steps in dating outside my race. 2. Good black men are also smart black men. They are not going to limit themselves to just dating black women. They will most likely date, marry and settle down with a woman of another race. This is wear the dilemma lies for black women, because that good black man is now off the market. And now that this good black man is married and settled down in his life, his wife and children will benefit from his career success and income while that black woman will have many boyfriends...but no husband. This is why so many black households-particularly in the inner city areas-are head by a single black woman, and no man in the household. She'll spend a good amount of her time and energy running back and forth to social service office for benefits and to the court for child support from the men she laid down with and became impregnated by...while that good black man is living a comfortable life in his traditional family unit. This is a harsh truth from some, but it is the truth of what is going on when it comes to relationships between black men and black woman and why black woman find it hard to find a good black man.

Whenever I hear a black woman talk about how she would make a good partner for a black man, she always says something like "I'm educated", "I have my (multiple) bachelor's degree(s)", "I have my (multiple) master's/doctorate degrees", or even "I have a stable career/own a business". What you NEVER hear them say is: I) I am a good woman II) I submit to my man III) I treat my man like a king IV) I cook and clean for him V) I do whatever to make him happy (within reason, of course). These "educated" black women never lead off with the qualities that (would) make them good wifely candidates, but they always lead off with their education and/or their corporate success. Why? They know deep down that they are NOT wife material. They can't lead off with something that they don't have. A degree doesn't make a man's dick hard. Corporate success isn't going to want to make a man want to claim you or come home to you. Why do you think that the high-school-dropout white girl that works at McDonalds, Waffle House, or (dare I say it?) Wal-Mart was able to score that handsome, dark chocolate, educated/rich/stable career, tall brother with the chiseled jaw and washboard abs, while Ms. Educated-With-25-Degrees-Black Woman, is stuck at home, surrounded by sex toys and worthless niggaz like Dirty Dick Rodney, Doo-Dirty, Pookie, RayRay, ManMan, etc.? It is because the white girl is HUMBLE and knows how to treat a man.

Ron as usual, you make some good points. And not knowing " what to do" is exactly the problem. We learn by observing. If you never observed a good man being loved , respected, and trusted, then how would you know what's involved? That creates a legitimate handicap. Its just emotional and social instead of physical. But like physical handicaps, they can only function in a handicap friendly environment... Who makes a living taking advantage of "emotionally handicapped " women? Pookie, Ray Ray, married men , jack leg preachers. How? The implied contract is this: I'll let you use me , if you dont reject me like my daddy did. In other words. they pretend to accept them all the while taking everything they got.

Greeting Sir Rom... I find that in our culture most not all of young women never seen one. Unfortunately mother's having children out of wedlock started a pattern of what is out of order. Not teaching self love and honor accepting men in the homes. Never exhibiting actions and roles that we are to have as woman and man. I myself grew up in a single parent home mom did marry later in life. Prior to that i always believed the woman was the head she had to do it all. But by trial and error in my marriage i evolved now i can tech my children a better way. Peace and love🙏

It is not difficult to take care of a good black man. Give him the following and he will love his woman for it: unconditional love, create an environment of peace, rest and cleanliness, respect him, give him a lot of sex, affection, appreciation edification, and praise (admiration). Support his vision/goals/dreams and build with him. Feed him HEALTHY meals cooked from "scratch"…no microwave food, fast food or junk food! Lastly, women should eat healthy and work out on a regular basis in order to remain appealing to their men. :0)

WiseLady7 Everything you wrote is true, and you either learned that through relationship experience or you were taught that. So many sisters were never taught how to be a woman. My mother never taught me and so many of my friends weren’t taught either. The cocaine/crack epidemic took our ‘mothers’ away and grandmothers were overwhelmed. God has been my mother- bringing people into my life who could pour into me, plus I was willing to listen and learn. I hope to do the same for others.
@WiseLady75 жыл бұрын
@ Ledona Hentley, Yes. You are correct. Experience and the sound advice from a wise, nurturing mother (she has been happily married to my stepfather for over 43 years), aunts (one married to my uncle for over 60 years), female cousins.... even via a sea of wise masculine men in my family....such as my stepfather, brothers, uncles and male cousins (who are all happily married to their spouses). They would sit down and tell me many times how to love a black man. There were additional people who also gave sound advice, such as spiritual leaders in the Church. Let me tell you.....THEY WORK, TOO! The problem is that there are SOME (but not all) black women, who aren't willing to cater to their men in the way I mentioned above. As a result, these same BW end up losing their men to OTHER WOMEN WHO ARE WILLING TO LOVE AND CATER TO THEM.

Rom, I see some of your points but I don't completely agree with them. I think that the woman's father and the men she grew up around influences her choices in men. The area she grew up in influences her. Her mother influences her. If her father, uncles and all the men she grew up around were a hot mess, all she will subconsciously attract is a hot mess. When a woman is like that, she doesn't see good men. And if the good men she her, they seem to avoid her or seem to be not attracted to her. This goes on for a long time before some brave nice dude takes a chance on her. (That poor dude.) He will catch hell. She will be angry, hardened, and out to get hers before he gets her. In her world, all men get (dog) women. This is all she knows. It's an ugly cycle. All this stuff is Jim Crow related, when it deals with black people.

It's getting really crazy listening to these kinds of videos, however, I like to see things from a man's, black man's, a logical point of view. Or what I mostly feel as logical. Even why I question logic is because all I'm hearing & seeing is bashing. And from some bw's videos as well. But, why don't we stop bashing for a sec. Just for a second. Now, The video states 'most women'. Why don't you take the bw who DO know what to do with a 'good black man' & deal with them. Let the ones who 'Dont' fall by the waist side. Point plank, I don't allow them nor brothers who are not interested in bw to hurt me. To me, men like that are called 'damaged goods'. Also, you are what you attract. If you don't like what you are attracting, become a better person & stop bashing.
@RomWills8 жыл бұрын
No it's not bashing. See too many women consider anything critical of their actions as bashing. The problem is that the Black men have been shamed into not speaking up. The problem is that too many want to run around with their heads in the sand or only listen to men who say what they want to hear. No more because that way hasn't worked. If you don't these videos don't watch them.
@knowthyself21198 жыл бұрын
Rom Wills Yes it is bashing, and many enjoy it too. The problem is that too many of us are complaining about it. As I said earlier, you are what you attract. Change or go with the few that you do appreciate. Now, I do understand that some bw have this entitlement thing going on, especially when they have absolutely nothing to bring to the table. And the ones who have degrees are another situation within itself. But, no other race is bashing each other but us. Don't you see how crazy this is. And I would stop 'watching' your videos, but their are so many on both sides & it's sickening. Help the situation, don't make it worst.
