Jesus I'm starting to feel more like fez. I don't go out, I can't connect with others and home is favorite place to be. Except I love to cook. After a while you don't feel lonely you don't feel a thing. And I think that the longer I stay in this frame of mind, the deeper and darker life will be, I know that. But I just can't make friends anymore. Here I am taking a shit thinking about this. I'm not sad about it, it's just the way things turned out and it's just the way I am. I'm turning 27 next month and I just wish I could pin point where and why I became so comfortable being alone.

I'm 34 and since I wax your age my intrest in meeting new people has gone down. At some point focusing on work and relationships etc made me change what I want to do. I have a gf but even then I still like to be alone and do my own thing. I play beer league hockey and I meet new people that I like and we joke and I'm very vocal but that's about it, a few hours out of the week and I'm good.

Same bro, I started changing around age 27. I turn 33 this Saturday. But I have my wife of 12 years and 2 sons. I feel the same way bud . It's ok . People suck anyways

It's a generational thing. Social media has warped us all and made people phonier and more vapid than ever, there are tons of different options for entertainment and distraction while staying at home, and why would you want to go out and get gouged for overpriced drinks and foods anyway? My closest friends are still the guys I knew when I was in high school even though we don't see each other as often as we used to and I'm not particularly interested in meeting new people either.
