To be fair we do have 'cream horns' in the uk....kind of a hollow conch shaped pastry covered with sprinkled sugar crystals and filled with cream and strawberry or raspberry jam....preserves or jello if you wish....rather yummy....bit of a delicacy or certainly a treat back in the 70s and 80s even 90s perhaps....'cake hole' generally refers to the mouth however....as in '....shut your cake hole Penelope darling the ballet has started....'....you know buddy?....
