RON JON: Visiting the LARGEST Surf Shop in the World at Cocoa Beach Florida!

Heehee.. this IS a huge shop. I love it. When at my beach hut, we sometimes stop in Cocoa Beach and it is so fun. I surfed in SoCal briefly, as it was offered as a high school course. Those wooden carved statues look like tiki’s to me. The store in CA closed in 2009. I like the one in Disney Springs too. My hubs knew Kelly Slater, lol - VERY nice guy. Great video !!! When my parents were alive we used to always go here every year. My dad used to surf in San Diego when he was in high school. I'm not a surfer at all but always enjoyed this store. I haven't been back without him. Someday.

Like you Rich, I don't surf. But, I have boogie boarded with our sons many times. Bought our first boogie boards at a Ron Jon's in Panama City Beach. Love the beach and pier views! Always fun places to visit and we loved coming along with you!

I was unaware skateboarding was created by surfers... but that makes sense now that you have mentioned it. We usually stop by Ron Jon Surf Shop when we are in a beach town. Although we aren't surfers either. They have lots of cool clothes and a cool vibe. Enjoyed seeing the inside of the museum too. Thanks for taking us along to the largest surf shop in the world!

Thanks for the tour! I went to this store once when I was 10 years old. Cocoa beach looks like a lot of fun. We stayed the night before a cruise. We didn't do much though. Definitely next time! If you live in Fl you are 60 miles from a body of water. That is why we love it!
