'Saw him in concert last night. Wonderful. Thanks, Ron and band. They are touring the UK in May 2017. Please support this artist. Buy his CD's and vinyl, go to his concerts. The music business is such that Ron still struggles a bit financially. He just moved away from Toronto, as he couldn't afford to live there anymore, after 10 years enjoying life there. Something so wrong with that picture. The man has so much talent.

I think he does ok financially...I think his fans do buy rather than download,he sells out theatres all around the world once a year,and his Songbook should be a hell of a pension if some of the Hit parade singers delve into it! I heard him say he felt a bit out of sorts in the city,going into bars where he didn't know anyone anymore...but that happens to all of us if we live long enough,things change and people move on...I thought it was his wife that wanted to leave Toronto most though!

Extraordinary talents do not always become rich persons. Mr. Sexsmith gets along. It's not a sad thing. Perhaps some day his tunes will be covered by a great big pop star. I hope it will be within his lifetime.

Is it just me but every time I see Ron being watched by other artists, they are always in "awe" if his writing ability. Fran is an amazing writer, but not many can hold a candle to Ron Sexsmith - including Fran. Ron is honestly one of the best writers out there doing it now.
