Having met ron in person I can say he is one of the most personable and engaging people one can meet. ..... his music is a thing of beauty and he is truly a humble person. I have all his recordings and have seen him a number of times in concert, never a let down for sure.... He is my favorite artist and an inspiration to me. I always feel better after listening to his music .....

Agree. Went to an album release thing at a record store. Missed the chance to meet him and get a free cd by that much, as Maxwell Smart would say. The question was, what year did Sexsmith start recording... ? Do you know

The admiration and respect of the likes of Graham Gouldman and Fran Healy (who’ve written some wonderful songs themselves) says all you need to know here. The melody & song structure are superb. Imagine being able to write a song this good! And Ron always seems such a lovely, self effacing and genuine bloke.

success these days is measured by looks , age and studio trickery. black eyed peas during superbowl proved this to be so true! just a man his guitar his song and his voice ,,,,no gimmicks no suits with flashing light bulbs and no machines to disguise the fact that he's tone deaf . brilliant songs Ron ,,,breath of fresh air

Ron's obviously not complaining that Buble has done his song, he clearly states that he's sent Buble lots of songs to do and this is the first one he's taken, he's clearly grateful.
